Chapter five: Fighting for his sake

Even though josh ruined my chances of getting with my crush, he didn't stop pestering me. He always send me gifts and whenever anyone wants to talk to me, he would yell at them. Bro you don't own me, just stop. It's not even up to a month for me in college and josh made me get my first "detention", I don't know what else to call it but I wasn't allowed to come to college for a whole month until I change. Josh punishment was the worst, he has to change his college but because his dad is rich he was able to get away with it. This is how everything went.

I got to college in the morning as usual josh would come up on me always trying to make me be his girlfriend but I didn't want that because I like someone. I walked up to the guy.

Ava: I don't know if you remember me but my name is Ava, I'm new here

Guy: Oh hi Ava, my name is joe. I'm also new here

Ava: Nice. I don't want to seem weird or anything but do you want to hang out after college?

Joe: Sure thing (he smile) How do you want me to meet you, should I wait for you after college?

Ava: Yes, please.

Joe: Alright. Also please tell me this isn't a prank, I have been pranked like this by girls who are pretty like you

Ava: Trust me, it's not a prank. I'll see you by 5pm because that's when I finish.

Joe: Thank you, see you later. (He left)

Feeling really excited about asking Joe out, I was surprised to see him being pinned to the wall by josh

Josh: (punch him) I told you she is fucking mine, back off from her

Joe: Please leave me alone, I won't see her anymore. Promise

Josh: I won't believe that until I see it (he punched him again)

What's wrong with this guy? I hurried to separate them

Ava: (slap josh) What the hell is wrong with you? I already told you, I don't like you. Stay away from me

Josh: Are you saying this to pity him? He doesn't need pity, he already has it

Ava: Say that one more time and I'll smack you again

Josh: Calm down baby girl. Don't let a fat ass convince you

I didn't like what he said so I use my bag to hit him forgetting that my bag had a needle, it made josh bleed. I was terrified, I didn't know what to do, I can't run away, people saw me smack him. So I started crying and apologising.

Ava: I'm soo sorry, I didn't know my bag has a needle there. I'm really sorry. (Brought out wipe from my bag) here have this, I'm sorry

Josh: Fuck off muppet

Ava: Don't call me that, I already apologised.

Josh: Whatever (he left)

I didn't know where he was going but I hoped it wasn't the principal office.

After few minutes, the principal called me to her office.

Principal: Please sit. I hope you know why I called you here

Ava: Yes ma'am I'm soo sorry I didn't mean to make him bleed, he caused everything and because I was upset I hit him with my bag forgetting there was needle stuck in my bag

Principal: Why would you bring needle to the college? Why?

Ava: I just had to invade my bag break

Principal: Not a great reason. I'm sorry Ava but I'm going to have to involve your parent into this and while I do that please ensure to not come to college for a month. I don't know what next you would do.  Also I'll see what I can do about josh because he has always been a problem since he came last year, he's not a freshman like you.

Ava: Please ma'am, I can't miss college. Please

Principal: Sorry Ava. You may leave now.

Ava: Okayy

I left the office feeling really sad, I have done two thing. Disappoint my parents and won't be able to see Joe again. Thanks a lot josh.
