The 7th Afton

Wait....is it really her?

(Just a little side note so you don't get confused, this is still Liu's pov and we're still in the flashback)

*I eventually found out that the girls name is Ivy Afton, she had 4 other siblings, a younger brother and sister Chris and Eli, an older brother Terrance, and a twin brother named Michael

I thought she would ignore me or even be mean to me since I was new in town, but I was wrong

She was the sweetest person I had ever meet, both in this town and in my old town

She helped me and my family adjust to our new home and she also helped me and Jeff whenever we got bullied at school or when we needed help with work

She's actually really smart, although she's the same age as me she was in the grade above me since she skipped a grade, yeah, she's that smart

She's a really good teacher, whenever me or Jeff got confused on something she'd be patient with us and explain until we finally got it, and she was always nice about it as well, she never made fun of us or called us names if we ever had trouble on things

She's also, not surprisingly, quite popular at school, although I didn't know this at first so when she stepped in to protect me and Jeff from the bullies I got scared and though they'd just beat her up instead but they listened and left right away

Ever since that day I admired her so much and wanted to strive to be a person like her

But,......whenever I was around her I felt this strange feeling, it made my stomach feel like it was flipped upside down, my cheeks heated up and I got all nervous and sweaty

I asked my mom what it might be and as soon as I told her all that happened to me when I got this feeling and who I got this feeling around she immediately screamed at the top of her lungs,*

"OMG, MY BABY HAS HIS FIRST CRUSH ALREADY!!"

*Crush?! No, it, it can't be, I just met her barely a month ago, I can't possibly already have a crush on her!

I kept trying to deny it but my mom wouldn't listen and instead called out to my dad and brother to tell them*

"HONEY, JEFF, LIU GOT HIS FIRST GIRLFRIEND ALREADY!!"

"NO I DIDN'T MOM, I"M TELLING YOU I DON'T LIKE HER, I BARELY MET HER A MONTH AGO!"

I yelled back, my face red with embarrassment

"WHAT?! HOW'D YOU GET A GIRLFRIEND BEFORE I DID?! THAT'S NOT FAIR!"

Jeff said,

"YOU"RE 2 YEARS YOUNGER THAN I AM, YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A GIRLFRIEND IS, AND FOR THE LAST TIME, I DON'T HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!"

I retorted

"What's with all the yelling?!"

My father asked coming into the kitchen clearly mad about all the ruckus

"Liu's got a girlfriend!"

My mother squealed in excitement

"FOR THE LAST TIME NO I DON'T"

I said once more, my face becoming an even darker shade of red

"Really now? Who is it?"

Father asked with a clearly amused look on his face

"The pretty neighbor girl that's always over here helping me and Liu with our work for school.."

Jeff mumbled

"You're just jealous I got a girlfriend before you did"

I replied turning away crossing my arms over my chest and rolling my eyes
