"Shit" i yell running out the door and starting my quad racing towards where it came from and i see dad doing the same but really slowly "lori" i shout but no answer "lauren" i shout again and i hear her scream again "lauren where are you" i yell and she screams "maddie help me" from inside the stable "bloody mini bull" i mutter driving straight in the door startling the bull that was cornering lori "get you bloody beast" i yell chasing it out into its field "are you alright lori?" i ask and she runs over in tears "he threw me into the wall" she cries into my chest "its okay your safe" i say holding her gently as the sound of dad's quad draws closer "what was the screaming about" he says looking mad "don't even start dad, that bloody mini bull wasn't in its paddock and threw lori into the wall but not like you would get here on time, the beast had her pinned to the wall" i yell causing him to get back on his quad and leave "lets go get you something to eat and you can stay in my room tonight yeah?" I ask and she nods "alright" i say lifting her up and sitting her on the seat in front of my knee as i stand up to drive back "keep breathing lori" i say noticing her sniffling, when we get back to my house the guys are on the porch looking worried "you can go inside guys" i say and they smile letting lori and i go first "that was the quickest i've seen you start that four wheeler in a while" danny says making me smile "well danny your fourteen so i know more" i tease making him laugh "hi maddie" he says hugging me "oh my god its sam, colby jake and corey" he says looking shocked at them "yeah it is go get your stuff for them, their in the hallway storage boxes" i say and he walks off down the hall "guys did you put the stuff away" i ask looking at them "no your siblings did that" sam says gesturing to the two toddlers carrying light objects to the fridge as molly puts stuff away "mols let me do it" i say moving her out the way "maddie you don't need to do everything yourself" she says making me smile "molly moo i know that but i need something out of there for dinner so move your skinny ass out my way before i send lori to get your fifteen year old butt" i say and she giggles running off "thank you little guys" i say lifting the cheese and lettuce off of my youngest siblings and handing them their biting toys i keep in the freezer "thanks maddie" oscar says making all of my other siblings myself included freeze "he said maddie" i say smiling happily as molly runs over with lori running behind "oscar said your name" lori says happily making me smile "ma ma maddie" tony says trying a few times "aw well done tony" i say lifting him up on my hip "lori can you take them into the old dining room to play until dinners ready" i ask and she nods lifting tony out my arms and walking away leaving me with the guys standing quick shocked "have a seat in the lounge if you want i will have this ready as quick as possible" i say making them smile and walk through to the lounge "you want a hand?" Colby asks standing at the door "sure here can you cut up the lettuce tomatoes and carrots for the salad and grate the cheese" i ask and he nods taking them as i set a chopping board and a knife in front of him "alright, you want anyone else to help" he asks and i shake my head "i mean if you want someone to come through you can" i say and he smiles "i only wondered if you needed more help" he says cutting up the vegetables "is your sister alright?" He asks after a few minutes "yeah the mini bull just threw her against the wall and had her pinned" i say and he nods "you seemed a bit mad when you came back" he says and i smile "yeah i was a bit but it wasn't because of anyone here, it took my dad so long to get to lori when he travelled the same distance i did" i say and he nods "i would be pretty mad about that too" he says, once the chicken nuggets and chips are done for oscar and tony i shout "lori, bring the boys through please" i say pulling their highchairs out of the cupboard and set then up quickly before setting both plates on the counter "colby can you make sure the meat doesn't burn" i ask and he nods "anything else i need to do" he asks and i nod "once its browned add the onions" i say and he nods as i begin to feed my brothers "sam c'mere" i shout needing someone to finish making the toppings "you forgot to grate the cheese" i say making colby smile slightly "yep" sam says walking through "can you grate that cheese for me?" I ask and he nods, once the kids are finished the tacos are almost ready "you know what your doing right?" I ask and the boys nod as lori keeps them on track "i will be back in a second lori" i say taking the boys to their bedroom in my house which is next to mine "ni ni time" i say and they yawn tiredly "lets get you in your pjamas" i say laying tony on his bed before beginning to put oscar in his pyjamas but tony starts to cry "its alright tony" i say rocking his crib, it calms him down after a few minutes "alright all done oscar" i say laying him in his bed and lifting tony up to get him in his pyjamas "alright all done boys" i say but they just cry until i lift them again "shhh shhh shhh, maddie's gotcha" i say smiling as they lay their heads on my shoulders "maddie" lori says quietly as she walks in "are you alright?" She asks and i nod "they wouldn't fall asleep with out their cuddles" i say and she smiles "just bring them down with you" she says and i nod "alright lets go, i will take them over to the house after" i say and she smiles "I'm going to go back to the house tonight" she says making me smile "if thats what you want to do" i say and she nods opening doors for me as i carry the two toddlers down the stairs again, once i'm downstairs i see they have set up the table and placed the food on it, the guys sitting at one end with room for lori and i at the top of the table "there you are" danny says smiling up at me "yeah, the twins wouldn't go down so they are just clinging" i say and molly smiles handing out plates "molly, danny after dinner do you want to take your horses out for a ride?" I ask and they nod "yes please" they say together "you know i always forget you two are twins" i say making them laugh "our teachers don't, i can't count the number of times i get called danny, lauren or luna" molly says making me smile "thank you luna, really you were nice enough to let us into your home" colby says once dinners over, he volunteered to wash dishes, lori offering to take the toddlers to the main house
