Sam and Colby haunted museum

Hearing the crash my eyes widen "oh crap" i mutter shoving the door closed "sam gimme that chair quickly" i say and he hands me one of the spare dining chairs which i use to keep the door closed "luna madelyn" it says and i cover my mouth shaking my head, its impersonating my mother, looking around i see all four of them look terrified. I've never been one for religion (sure i have deities) but right now im begging whatever gods can hear me get this thing out of my house
We sit in a horrific silence for nearly an hour before it leaves "you said it couldn't get in" colby hisses towards me looking scared "it normally can't all the windows and doors are reinforced, i swear to god this thing better bugger off" i say pulling the knife from my belt again and turning to see it looking in the window again "maddie" it says in its distorted screechy voice and i let out a huff standing in front of the four guys staring this thing down "this is my property and my land you will get off it" i say trying to stay calm as it runs a bony hand on the window "we will never" it screeches before turning and running off on all fours like a deer, four more join it as they run into the thicker woods "oh thank god" i mutter slumping against the wall with a sigh "don't worry its gone" i say seeing them looking scared "your sure this time?" Sam asks and i nod "its a football night so normally there are fireworks" i explain and they nod "as for the going to haunted places it would be best to do it now" i say and they look at me like im insane "those things are out there!" Jake says and i let out a laugh "as i said their not going to come back if there are fireworks, so your best going tonight" i say and they nod taking the chair off the door before going into the kitchen "i swear to all that's holy i will kill those creatures" i mutter walking after the guys "if we wait an hour before going the fireworks will have started by then" i say and they nod "those three need to make a call" colby says as they walk out on the porch "that's fine, you hungry or anything?" i ask and he shakes his head "im alright right now" he says leaning on the counter "i know what just happened was probably terrifiying so if you want to call off going to the haunted spots i don't mind" i say and he goes quiet for a second "i think that jake and corey might go home" he says and i nod "i don't blame em, those things can be terrifiying" i say with a smile "i don't think i would want to go home without at least trying to go to the spots" he says and i nod "your a brave man" i say as the other three come back in "so you three ready to go to these spots" i say and they all nod "just putting it out there if you come with me to these spots you cannot back out half way because you will end up lost in the woods" i say and they nod "we know, if we do this at least we can say we've do this before" jake says and i nod "follow me then" i say walking to the stables, whistling as i reach the door causing storm to appear at the door, bella and holland bickering behind her "oi enough" i shout causing them to look at me before going back to bickering "storm separate" i say and she backs up between them, "bloody pains in the ass" i say before whistling on gypsy and rhysand. "woah easy boys" i say as they come bolting towards the door, "easy, calm down" i say and they jump about for a minute, gypsy calming down but rhysand continues to jump around threatening to rear up "rhys don't you dare" i say catching him with a leadrope but he goes to rear up dragging me towards him "get your ass back down" i say as he begins to fully stand on his back legs and tug the lead rope making him come back down "behave or your going back in that stable" i say and he calms down eventually finding the horse treats in my pocket "how did you?" sam starts looking at the five horses in front of me "one i train and ride each of these horses and two he reared up last time i was in the stable and kicked my side, storm stepped in and backed him into a stable" i say and they nod "any of you ridden before?" i ask and they shake their heads "okay he's going back then" i say leading rhysand into his stable "why'd you name him rhysand?" jake asks and i smile "i read a certain series that had a character by the name of rhysand who was my favourite so hence a black horse named rhysand" i say and they nod "you mean a court of thorns and roses" corey says and i nod "ah i seen that book on your shelves" he says and i nod "its a good series" i say before putting saddles on gyspy, holland and bella "okay sam your on holland, corey bella and jake your on gyspy" i say and they nod "climb up onto them" i say and they attempt to and eventually do after a few tries "what about colby?" Sam asks and i smile tilting my head towards storm "she can carry two" i say moving a couple hay bales beside storm and helping colby climb up "woah she's tall" he says and i smile "yes she's a shire cross clydesdale cross Connemara" i say and he nods as i climb up and sit in front of her "hold on to the front of the saddle, that's all you'll need to do" i say and they do, colby looks confused since storm doesn't have a saddle "where do i?" He says and i smile "you hold onto me" i say and he smirks "you sure" he says and i nod "yep" i say before he holds on and i bump storm then whistle on the other three who walk beside her "these lot are whistle trained to avoid issues if i get into bother" i say and they nod as we head in the direction of the first spot which is a haunted swing set left after the house set fire fourty years ago "you know the history right" i ask and they nod "the house that used to be here set fire killing a wife, a husband and their nine kids" sam says and i nod "you know your stuff, but they had ten kids the oldest set the fire but in a fit of grief filled rage over what she did, she came over to the swing set and kicked it until one if the bars fell and killed her" i say and they look shocked "imagine having ten kids" jake says and they all look at him "like that's a lot of food" he continues and they laugh climbing off their horses, colby looks at the ground then back at them "will i be able to get back up if i go down there" he asks and i nod "i will help you up" i say and he smiles sliding off storm and going to help them,
