"I know who you are..."
Luna can see the gleam of the person's teeth through the darkness as they grin in amusement.
"Do you really? Enlighten me sweetheart..."
Luna gulps clenching her hands into a fist as they rest at her sides, "...you're me."
The figure steps out of the darkness making Luna gasp in surprise as she stares at a carbon copy of herself.
"Not quite."
"What?"
This version of herself stood dripping with confidence. She had brown hair and glowing yellow eyes the opposite of Luna who had dark almost black hair and green eyes.
"Actually you're me." She smirks while taking slow steps around the room.
Luna felt like she wanted to pass out.
"What are you- w-what do you mean?"
"You may wish to pay attention. I am only going to explain this once. My name is Circe... I am the reason you're here."
Luna grips her head as she stands up and stares out her window at the gleaming moon, "Here as in-"
"Your existence, sweetheart."
"H-how?" Luna chokes on air as she shakes her head in disbelief, "That doesn't make sense."
"I was alive centuries ago. I was killed... but before I died, I did a little magic trick," Circe smirks while holding up her fingers which produce a bright flame.
Luna peeks over her shoulder watching Circe as she takes a few steps closer to Luna. Luna felt like she couldn't move. She was frozen. She was confused.
Circe picks at a strand of Luna's hair before chuckling and backing into the darkness once again. Luna takes a deep breath before turning around to stare at her unique colored eyes that illuminate in the darkness.
"You did a rebirth spell?"
"Beauty and brains. Two things you got from me of course." Circe scoffs crossing her arms over her chest, "Apparently I did... I didn't have time to work out the kinks. So here you are."
