LUNA frowns as she watches police walk along the Hale property which is now a crime scene. She hoped Derek wouldn't be pissed off at her. She knew she should feel scared that a dead body was in his backyard. Well half. But she had a gut feeling that he had nothing to do with her death. And most of the time her intuition was right.
Handcuffed, Derek is led into a police car by a Deputy while Scott looks on by Stiles's jeep.
Scott quickly types a text into his phone, 'Ok, go.'
Derek glances up from the backseat behind the cage as Stiles slips into the front passenger side.
"Just so you know, I'm not afraid of you."
Derek almost smiles. Almost.
"Okay, maybe I am. Doesn't matter."
The passenger door is whipped open making Stiles jump. Luna squeezes into the car and sits on Stiles lap without a second thought. Derek frowns as Stiles face reddens.
"Would you stop doing that?!"
"Sorry..." Luna smirks not sorry at all.
Derek smiles before wearing his signature blank face when Stiles turns back towards him.
"I just want to know something. The girl you killed..." Stiles quickly glances around to see if anyone is coming, "She was a werewolf. But she was a different kind, wasn't she?"
He looks to Derek for confirmation and gets none.
"She could turn herself into an actual wolf. I know Scott can't do that. And I think you can't either. Is that why you killed her?"
"He didn't kill her Stilinski..."
"We have proof... you saw the body. That girl was mutilated. Why are you still trying to side with him? Is there something you're not telling us? You know something?"
Luna sighs zipping her mouth. Derek feels slight pride and relief knowing that Luna knew he didn't kill the girl.
"Why are you so worried about me when it's your friend who's the problem?"
