TEARING DOWN A DARK PATH, slapping away the branches at her face, Luna searches desperately for the school. She knew not to use her powers with the Argents being out, and if she had just appeared at the school and a student saw it would not go well. Running as fast as she could in her now muddy white converse, the lit up building comes to view.
Sighing in relief, Luna hurries through the parking lot and up the stairs. Shoving through students in the crowded decorated hallway, Luna tries looking around frantically for Scott or Stiles.
On the dance floor in the gym, Lydia steps away from Stiles as a slow dance song begins to play. Her eyes dart around the gym looking for Jackson.
Stiles frowns at her in concern, "You okay?"
"What? Yes... Just need to take a break."
"You mean you need to find Jackson."
She nods, a moment of vulnerability breaking through.
Stiles smiles painfully, "I get it."
He guides her off the dance floor past Scott and Allison. Stiles stands by the bleachers watching Lydia hurry out the gym double doors. Sighing, he takes a seat wondering if his ten year plan was worth it seeing as how much Lydia was in love with Jackson.
Hurrying throughout the hallway Lydia turns the corner and jumps letting out a shriek as she runs into someone. Luna lets out a huff then holds tightly onto Lydia's shoulders giving her a serious look.
"Lyds where is Scott and Stiles?"
"They're inside. Scott is dancing with Allison. I just left Stiles."
Luna nods taking a step forward then freezes looking back at Lydia in question, "Everything okay?"
"Yeah no everything's fine. Stiles is nice. I just noticed Jackson wasn't inside and I know he was drinking and-"
"And you still love him..."
Lydia nods biting her lip looking down at her hands.
"It's okay I understand. Hey I'm gonna go talk to Stiles really quick then I'll come out and help you look for him. Promise."
Lydia nods smiling lightly before pulling Luna into a hug. Luna grins hugging Lydia back tightly.
"Thank you... love you."
"Of course. Love you too Lyds... be out in a second."
Lydia nods and watches Luna run into the gym before walking to the front of the school.
Luna looks around the gym frantically then feels relieved as she sees Stiles near the punch bowl. Running over to him, she grabs his arm pulling him away from anyone who could hear.
Stiles flinches as he is pulled away from the punch bowl. He turns around to see a brunette girl in a brown crop top and sweatpants.
