Mission impossible

"I won't be long Nari maybe a couple hours, you will be okay I promise, just please get lots of rest and if I'm not back here by 3pm then enter the safe and stay there. The code is ********"
I nodded at his request, gently easing back into his bed.
He patted my head and left his bedroom.
Luckily he had given me a book to read but I was planning on sleeping the most of it.
After a short nap I began reading.
Suddenly a loud siren sounded right above my head and Lucy's voice spoke.
"We were under attack please vacate to a safe place"
The message repeated over and over as I panicked.
Sounds of loud gun shots could be heard from outside before fast foot steps entered the building followed by yelling and screaming.
I tried to get up but I just kept hurting myself.
I was to weak and pathetic.
Smacking the bed as I heard the foot steps getting closer to Cynos bedroom.
Pulling the covers over my head I could hear my heartbeat in my ears.
The steps got closer and closer.
Till all was silent and I could only hear my own breaths.
Two hands grabbed my ankles and yanked me from the bed.
I screamed at the top of my lungs as Troys laugh entered the room.
"Gotcha little fella"
His toothy grin was full of nothing but evil and desire.
"You survived my shot that's a tough one and now that we have you, Cynos lover we can finally get what we want"
My legs were sore and every-time I struggled to break free my stomach would hurt like someone was punching me.
"He's a lively one despite that injury"
They struggled with me in my arms before Troy yelled.
"We got what we came for let's get the fuck out of here!"
I couldn't let them leave so I yanked the man's arm down and hit into it.
Having fennec genes gave me large teeth.
The man screamed as blood poured out of his arm and onto the carpet.
I saw Troy running over to me with a baseball bat before swinging.
Suddenly I saw nothing but black.

The walls of a van came into view before my vision faded again.
Images flashed through occasionally as I was dragged into a cell before the it was shut tightly.
Once again my vision went black.

6 hours later,
I lifted my head through the clouded vision before I heard the voice of a small child.
"H-Hey take it easy-"
A hand grabbed my shoulder as I sat up.
Taking a deep breath to endure the pain I asked.
"W-Where am I-?"
I got a clear look at her face before she spoke.
Her eyes were a light pinky purple with a mop of green hair and bandages covering parts of her face.
"This is Troys base. I heard them saying your Master Marta's lover?"
I shook my head from the throbbing pain inside it.
"I wish- we were just close, what happened to my head-? It really hurts-"
She gently touched it and I winced in pain.
"Troy probably hit you with his bat when you weren't complying. But what's this?"
Pointing a small pale finger towards my stomach.
"Troy shot me"
I spoke through the pain that was circling through my body.
"He's a horrible man!"
Loud foot steps came down the cold concrete stairs.
Followed by that same ear piercing laugh.
"Your awake I see. We have to keep you alive so you better eat"
He shoved a bowl of gross looking shit into the cell, followed by a bowl of water for dogs.
"Your a fox so I assume you drink like that, pathetic furry"
I hated it when people called me a furry, there were nothing wrong with them of course but just because I have animal features doesn't automatically make me one.
He was close enough to the cell that I could see his shoes.
I spat onto his shoe and he laughed before throwing open the cell door.
"You made a big mistake kid"
I felt his hand around my neck as he lifted me off the ground.
"If I had my way I would just kill you right now. But I need you alive"
His hands were cutting off my airway and I started gasping.
My body was on fire from pain throughout my entire body.
"Pathetic"
He dropped me to the ground and I landed on the solid concrete with a thud.
"Know your place!"
Yelling as he slammed the door and stormed up the stairs.
Collei rushed over to me and spoke.
"Sir SIR! Can you hear me!"
I nodded my head weakly and she brought over a tattered blanket.
Wrapping it around me before leaning in against me to create heat.
"We can stay warm like this. Will your boyfriend come for us?"
I breathed out weakly before responding.
"Hopefully..."
My vision faded and went black again.

With Cyno and the others,
(Cynos POV)
"Where is everyone? Where is the convoy!!?!"
Candace yelled from her hiding place.
"We have been set up!"
Wait.
Nari.
My eyes widened.
This was that bastards plan all along.
"QUICK LETS GO!"
I was enraged and I felt my blood boiling throughout my body.
We got back to the manner as fast as possible and my worst fears came true.
The gate had been smashed open and the bodies of my guards were all over the lawn.
It was a massacre.
The front doors to my open were obliterated and bullet shells covering the floor.
Nari.
I ran as fast as I could down the hallway until I made it to my bedroom.
My eyes fell on the open room, widening and a wave of terror hitting my like a tone of bricks.
The bed a mess and a pool of blood on the floor, the book I had given him was flat on the ground as bloody foot prints trailed out the door.
I fell on my knees and my throat was dry.
Tears pricking at the edges of my eyes.
This was all my fault.
Standing up and turning around I spoke unemotionally.
"Where is Troys base?"
Candace spoke with a shattered face.
"J-Just north of the warehouse-"
"Prepare the men. Every. Last. One of them."
It wasn't a yell but a serious demand.
I was prepared to fight.
