Kao POV
We sat there in silence on his bed in his condo. It was the same since I last went here, moments of the night came rushing down on me I started to blush thinking of it. Deciding to shrug it off because there are matters that need to be taken care of first.
I glanced to my side and Khai was busy staring at his turned-off phone, must be thinking so deeply he didn't notice it was off.
I slumped on his bed, looking over the ceiling, and sighed.
"I'm Sorry!" - Kao/Khai
We both uttered, looking over abruptly at each other. He crawled from the edge of the bed snuggling on my chest, as his hair brushed on my cheeks.
"Are you okay? Did he hurt you? I'm sorry... I should've got to you sooner." - Khai
"Why?" - Kao
"Why?What?"- Khai
"Why? are you sorry... Why are you always there when I'm a mess? Khaiii...." - Kao
" Sorry you have to hear those insulting words because of me, I am here because I was looking for you, I chose to be there coz' I want to... But... I didn't want to put you in that situation where you would be degraded coz' me" - Khai
He hugged me tightly.
"Khai ... " - Kao
"I understand if you want space and didn't want to see me now if you want to be left alone. But can I just hug you right now before you go ... " - Khai
"Khai ..." - Kao
"Just give me this afternoon and I won't ever step on your building, for now, I can't promise I won't text you or call.. " - Khai
"Khai..." - Kao
"I just ... Oiiiiiiiiiiii... Owwwwwwww!!!!"- Khai
"Khai!! Stupid... I didn't ask you to, It's not your fault. Dumbass.." - Kao
I pulled out his hair he was blabbering nonsense not even listening to me.
"Yes I'm stupid I'm a dumbass... Call me names, I'll take anything as long as it's you!! JUST SO YOU KNOW!!!"- Khai
He made a quick peck on my cheek and hug me tighter I can feel a smile forming touching the fabric of my clothes on my chest. The idiot was grinning. I ruffled his hair, playing with the ends of it.
"Thanks... I owe you a lot now" - Kao
"You do, but I would not take it upon you" -Khai
"Khai... " - Kao
"Yeah?"- Khai
He looked up at me and I saw the glimmer in his eyes, squinting at me. I swear I could've swooned over him the way those eyes looked at me like I was the only one in the world. So to stop myself from being obviously lost in those pretty eyes, I flicked his forehead.
"Oowwwww... You... That's domestic violence KAAAOOOO!!!"- Khai
"No, it's not, I'm just removing dirt on your forehead, duh?..haha" - Kao
"By flicking my forehead, can you be any more gentle than that?"- Khai
"Sorry..." - Kao
I kissed his forehead which had gone red and he was stunned, he did not dare blink and just stopped functioning altogether.
"Khai... Hey Khai.. " - Kao
"Oouuiiiii KAAAAOOOOOOOOOOO..." - Khai
He buried his face in my chest.
"Whhhaaatt, what did I do???"- Kao
"Nothing stop just let me breathe for a second" - Khai
He must have gone crazy, oh yeah he is crazy anyway so what's surprising? So I just cuddled him and let him in my embrace. It feels good, it feels just right. Just like mine.
I stopped thinking, what? Did I think he was "Mine"?
And then the white sheets draped over us as he flipped it covering us both. I saw him his face tinted in red, his face inches apart from mine. He was grinning.
"Khai?... I swear what you are thinking right now..." - Kao
I tried to push him off me, but he was snickering.
"Noooo stoppp Khai... You...you..." - Kao
He pinned my hands on the bed and kissed my neck breathing onto it.
"Calm down .. Khaii..." - Kao
"Kao... " - Khai
He placed my arms around his as we were now lying sideways facing each other like I was spooning him but closer as his head leaned on my neck, lips touching it.
"I wanna stay like this..." - Khai
"Mmmmm... " - Kao
"You smell so good..." - Khai
"Don't sniff me are you a dog??!"- Kao
"I can be if you want me. I can bite you as well, Raawwwwrrr heheheheh" - Khai
"Khai, you ass... Stopp..." - Kao
We were giggling like crazy under the blanket. Just the two of us spending our time alone, within each other's reach. Each other's comfort. Each other's safe space in our silence.

A series of pictures were posted on the uni board website. A visible face of the engineering student Kao at the fences holding hands with Pete in an indecent manner is captured in an angle where his face was visible but the other person is unrecognizable and in another picture where he was held by a different person at the parking lot that gave a misleading meaning to it.
It was shared and liked by students on the board website, comments flooded the anonymous post.
"Isn't that Kao of the engineering dept??! Oh my god... Two-timing??!"
"Hey?! Your crush... Maybe you ask for his hand as well.."
"Ew .. Homo... I knew it! So gay!!?"
"Tsk! He is doing that on school grounds. What a slut!"
" He looks so innocent but I thought wrong"
While this was being posted and shared Kao and Khai fell asleep in the dorm. Without knowing anything about what was going on.
Kao's phone kept ringing with his friend's caller ids but it was on silent so he could not answer. Both of them snuggled in each other's arms unaware of the brewing storm that was raging on campus.

"Serves you right Kao serves you right"
The post was shared again on social media accounts by an anonymous user with a picture of Kao with a slut written on it.
