I grinned at the idea of running into Ashton's arms. It wasn't his fault. Was it? No it wasn't.

I go to run out of the bathroom but quickly turn to Calum.

"Hey, thanks. A lot." I sigh.

"No problem," he smiles back, still sitting in the bath tub

"I hope everything works out for you." I sincerely say. This kid deserves so much better.

"Don't worry about me. Now go get him, love like that only comes once in a lifetime."

I nod and close the door. I let out a deep breath and begin to run down the stairs.

In the process, I stumble across an ever drunker Carla.

"Oh, well this is a bit awkward," she slurs. I don't say anything. I just look at her, trying to understand what her intention was. and what changed inside her since grade school. and if she was right, about me.

I turn away from her and just keep walking. I'm not dealing with her now.

I look everywhere for Ashton. Literally everywhere. But I just couldn't find him. I begin to panic. Then I did what I was hoping I wouldn't have to do.

I run through the front door. Ashton's car wasn't there... he left me.
