~Later that day at training~

,,After watching you train, I've decided for a captain for the team!"

Shinsuke: Captain? Tenma, maybe you can be captain again.

Tenma: Maybe

Couch Kudou looked through the crowd of players while we waited for his announcement. Who did he decide for?

,,The team captain is gonna be.."

Some of the members wanted to be chosen, others didn't. Some couldn't care less.

,,Shiraki."

Shiraki's pov:

I couldn't believe it when I heard my name.
,,Me?" I asked confused as everyone looked at me.

I'm supposed to be the team captain?

,,Yes. You have what it takes to lead this team and keep your cool on the field. I expect you to do your best, Shiraki."

Coach Kudou was serious as always and turned his back to us as he finished talking.

,,Training is over for today. Go home and rest. We'll hold a friendly match against another team in 3 days. Better be ready.
For the next 3 days I want you to strengthen the defense and get to know your teammates better! That's all."

We all looked after the coach as he walked away.
So now.. I'm the captain of this team.

I'll have to be a good one.
