[SOMEWHERE IN IOWA]

I shot up inhaling deeply and almost teleported away, my body had glitched but Tony wrapped his arms around my slightly aching body.

"Shhh, it's okay, calm down." He tried soothing me and I exhaled allowing myself to lean against him. "You did a great job, kiddo."

I closed my eyes and sighed. "I-I'm sorry. I got too cocky and distracted. It won't happen again, I—"

"Whoa, Whoa." He stopped me, whispering. "You need to relax. I'll get you something to eat then we have to report back to Hill."

I shook my head and opened my eyes. "Is everyone else okay?"

He nods. "They're... just eat something."

He looked unsure so I looked over his shoulder at the others, they were all quiet and seemed to still be lost in themselves, it wasn't much different from when Tony had retrieved the scepter.

"What is she doing to them?" I asked him, rhetorically, just wanting to fill the silenced.

"My guess, probably showing them their worst fears." He answered and let me go. "Don't worry about them, eat something."

"I can't." I whispered looking at him.. "I feel nauseous. I'll eat later."

I'm sure he wanted to push me to eat but I gave him the look to leave me alone. I barely even wanted to move, my body aching badly.
I looked at the others, wondering what they saw, they avoided looking at each other, Banner sat on the floor, Clint was the only other one stable enough to drive the jet, though Steve looks almost as fine.

Tony called up Hill for an update report. "The news is loving you guys. Nobody else is. Except for the newest hero."

I hugged my knees and faked a smile.

"There's been no official call for Banner's arrest but it's in the air."

   "The Stark Relief Foundation?"

"Already on the scene." Hill told Tony. "How's the team?"

"Everyone's..." He paused. "We took a hit. We'll shake it off."

"Well, for now, I'd stay in stealth mode and stay away from here."

"So run and hide?" Tony asked.

"Until we can find Ultron, I don't have a lot else to offer."

   "Neither do we." Tony whispered.

They ended the call and Tony offered to drive but Clint told him he could do it and that Tony should nap before we get to a safe house.

Tony came over and sat next to me. He asked if I really wasn't hungry and if I wanted anything else I could just go get it. I told him I didn't, in a whisper, genuinely feeling that way. We had a small screaming-whispering match in the back until I teleported away to my spot in the desert, it being nice and quiet but I screamed in pain, cutting it off into a silent whimper of pain.
I laid on the sand, closing my eyes and exhaling. I wondered why it hurt so much. Because of the giant. I told myself.

"Not all true." I tried to convince myself but that wasn't really what I believed. "Whatever."

I had been there for a few hours, changing out of my suit and showering in my pocket dimensions. I teleported back to the team, just as the jet was landing, I stumbled but Steve steadied me since I was closer to him.
