I teleported onto the porch and to the front door of the house taking a step inside. Pym still on my mind, I wasn't sure if I was really upset anymore. I just felt a little off about the situation.
The house was filled with people which was a bit distracting but I felt alone. Everyone was telling me he was a good man and a great hero, that he did a great thing sacrificing himself for the world. I don't think they realize how much those words hurt me, I don't even fully understand.

I moved to the couch, watching everyone talk, giving their condolences to Pepper who I knew was fighting back tears and just trying to be polite.
It wasn't until I saw a guy with dirty blond hair. I watched as the boy climbed up the stairs, he caught my attention and I went to follow him.

"Harley." He stopped and looked back at me.

"Hi." He says. "Amelia. Sorry, I was going to the bathroom, the other one downstairs already has someone using it. I guess people still don't want to cry in front of everyone."

"Yeah, being heroes and such." I forced the joke out. "Oh.. uh right, the bathroom. Go ahead."

"No, it's fine." He stood next to me, his back against the wall. "I'm sorry I didn't come up to you sooner. You just looked.."

"Sad? Broken? Out of it?" I asked and nodded. "He was my dad.. god the last time we saw each other I was crying about how I despised him."

"I'm glad you guys ended up getting along." He says and I nod. "I really looked up to your dad."

"Yeah? You helped him save the world once." I smiled. "And you saved him way back when."

He smiled and tears glossed his eyes. "He sent me presents every Christmas, so I could add them to my lab."

"That's great." I say. "I'm sorry he couldn't have visited you or anything..."

"It's okay, he had to take care of you." Harley said. "He did write me letters."
I looked at him as he smiled. "He raved about you all the time, I really wish we could have hung out some more."

"Me too." I agreed because I did wish for it. I felt myself tearing up again so I ruffled his hair. "Look how tall you've gotten."

He smiled sympathetically and before he could say anything we heard a voice at the bottom of the stairs.

"Mel." I looked over to see it was Dr. Strange.

"Excuse me." I say and open a portal pushing Strange in. Tears filled my eyes and I looked at him. "14,000,605. You told us we had one win... I don't believe you."

"You don't have to believe me."

"My father is dead. Did you see him die?"

"No, I just saw that we won."

   "Bullshit!"

"Amelia, I told you we had one chance. I'm sorry."

I rubbed my temples, frustrated. "If I took it, would it have been different? Would my dad still have died if I took any of the stupid stones?"

He looked at me and tears glossed over my eyes. I was being harsh but I had hoped that there was a chance he would be alive if I had just taken it.

"The outcomes are all different, Amelia." He says and I nod. "He loved you so nothing would have stopped him from sacrificing himself for you and your family.
None of those outcomes showed me anything remotely good. This.."

"This was the best outcome, the one with the least amount of damage." Of course I was bitter with him.

I let us out and walked away, I knew he was being nice and I wanted to believe him but it was hard too.
I was brought out of my thoughts when I bumped into someone. I looked up to see it was Danvers.
