Aspen: How come you don't, well, dissipate, when your in water.
Kinda how Lumi melts when she is near your fire.
Lumi: Just commenting on my natural death now?
Ember: It's because I don't have a "outside" fire source.
Think of a Charmander. You know that it has that open flame on it's tail.
Aspen: Yeah? What about it.
Ember: That's kinda like a visible health bar in sorts, and since I don't have one, it's not really a major problem if I stand in some rain. I just can't get in a body of water is all.
Aspen: Oh, ok, that makes more sense.
Ember: Also, every fire type Pokemon has at least some way to get natural fire in them. Though any direct stream of water near the body can slow down the process or even stop it outright.
Ember: Plus, without fire I can't really live.
Aspen: Oh, ok. Never knew.
