~Chapter 43: Takes A Broken Person To Know One~

Wanda had successfully got into his mind but something happened, she got sucked into his worst memories as well. In Sam's perspective, The ~Like A Dragon System~ made counter-measures if things like this ever happened,  the system would drag the caster into the hallucination that they cast on the user.

Wanda looked around to see she's not in Africa anymore, rather, she's in an entirely different place. Although this place looks like a normal suburban neighbourhood, something was off about it. The crowd who just stood there as she waved her hands at their faces, the policemen who just completely ignore and phase through her as they do something. Wanda then looked in front to see Sam just standing there.

Wanda looked at where he was looking to see a young version of him crying his heart out as he grabbed hold of his dead family. The police were too busy filing the report and calling in Ambulances while the neighbors just looked out of curiosity and without sympathy.

"You've... also lost people you have cared about, too?" She asked in his mind as he relived the moments again.

"Yeah."

"Then you must know why me and my brother are doing this too?"

"Yeah, something about getting payback at Stark?"

"If you know then why must you side with Stark?! He's nothing but a man with no care in the world of who his weapons hurt, so why must you side with him?" She asked as she gripped his suit.

"People change, Ms. Maximoff, whether you like it or not. Stark learns from his mistakes, and so do we." He said the last part while looking at his past.

"No matter how painful it was... no matter how much it hurts... no matter how many times you want to forget it... it'll always come back to you... like a boomerang full of painful memories. It'll hit your head so hard that the painful memories come back" He said as he approached his past self and he looked up to his future self.

Present Sam just kneeled down to his past self and hugged him tightly.

"There are many ways to cope with the past trauma. Forget or Embrace. When I was young, I chose to forget it because embracing it would mean it's all my fault that they died and I didn't want that on my consciousness but... it was the truth. If I hadn't taken the deal with the devil... maybe they'd still be alive... Maybe they'd greet me with their warm smiles and cheesy jokes they always tell... maybe everything just goes back to normal... but it didn't... I longed for it... I yearned for it... but this power... this blessing and curse... doesn't bring them back..." he paused.

Sam stopped hugging his past self and looked towards Wanda.

"But... you should embrace and accept it as what it is. Can't cry over spilled milk, no matter how much pain Stark put you through, it's in the past. He's a changed man, he's trying his best to right his wrongs... don't trust Ultron." 

"And why should I trust you?" She asked with suspicion

"You can see into the minds of people, right? Try looking into Ultron's mind and see what happens... he's got plans for the two of us."

"What do you mean by-"

{WARNING! MIND INTRUDER DETECTED, SENDING IN THE CLEAN-UP CREW! CLEAN-UP CREW WILL ELIMINATE INTRUDER IMMEDIATELY!}

"Shit! I didn't think they'd actually do that to you! Quick, turn off your powers!" he said

"No! Besides, how bad can the clean up crew be-" Before she could finish, she was lifted up by the neck and thrown forwards as she crashed into the pavement.

Sam looked to see two familiar faces.

~!CLEAN-UP CREW/MR SHAKEDOWNS!~
~!HIROYA EGASHIRA & YUKI SATO!~

"Well, if it ain't-" before Hiroya could say something, he was flinged away telepathically by Wanda who just recovered from being thrown like a ragdoll

~!MAGIC DETECTED, ACTIVATING MAGIC SUPRESSION FIELD!~

Suddenly, the whole memory is covered is some force field. Wanda tried to use her magic but it didn't work. She tried it again and the result is still the same.

"Haha! Little witch can't use her mutant pow-" Before he could finish, Sam throws a haymaker into his cheeks that sent him flying towards Sato as they crashed into each other.

"Alright punk, YOU ASKED FOR IT!" Egashira shouted as the two of them rushed towards Sam who just smirked.

The two threw haymakers at Sam only for him to catch them with small difficulties.

"Urgh!/What the-?!" Both of them grunted, confused on how did this kid get this powerful.

Sam threw their fists away and goes into his fighting stance as the fight starts. Sam just waits for one of them to attack and once Egashira did attack him, he used the Tiger Drop to attack them. He thought that since they can't flinch and will just tackle grab him, why not just finish this whole fight by doing Komaki Parry and Komaki Tiger Drop, the most cheesy strat to use ever.

After two more Tiger Drops, Egashira staggered and put his hand on his stomach. Sam runs towards him, then quicksteps towards him to try and fake a Tiger Drop, only for the fist to be caught by Yuki who came out of nowhere.

"CAUGHT YA, FUCKER!" 

"DON'T UNDERESTIMATE US!" Egashira shouted as he tried to do a rising kick but Sam easily yanks his grabbed arm off and quicksteps away from the kick

They both suddenly emit deadly red aura as the two reeled their fist in together.

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN JUST QUICKSTEP BACKWARDS?!" Sam asked the System and it did not reply.

"HERE WE GOOOOO!" The duo screamed and did a deadly attack as Sam quickstepped backwards.

Once Sam did that, his body automatically did a mirrored version of the Komaki Knockback, done with the right fist instead of the left. Then, something made him do a reverse left wheel kick that destroyed the two men.

Once they were dealt with, he was suddenly pulled back into reality as Tony breathed a sigh of relief.

"What happened?" You asked

"I don't know. You two just appeared out of nowhere, the girl ran off to somewhere." He told you but then you realised something.

"Wasn't Bruce staying in the Quinjet?" After asking that question, they could hear The Hulk screaming in the distance.

"Ahh shit." he cursed

"Damn it, half of our team is down and Hulk might go on a rampage on the city!" Tony said

"Oh wat, The Hulkbuster! Sam, you go and-" Before he could finish his plan, Sam was nowhere to be seen.

"Maria, where's the kid?" he asked

"Tony... he's going after The Hulk." Maria reported.

"WHY AM I STUCK PLAYING BABYSITTER?!" Tony whined
