Shane just walked back to the office as he saw Karen and Froggy celebrating the takedown of Kingpin the legal way. Froggy just shot a look while Karen just hugged Shane, thanking god that he was okay.
"Nothing can get past the almighty phoenix! That's right!" Harry cheered for Shane as he pops open some beers.
He hands one to Shane and he just gladly took it.
"ALRIGHT! That's what I like!" he said
Shane was starting to get annoyed by Harry's presence.
"So, what's our plan to celebrate that fat ass's defeat? Grab some BODACIOUS babes? go to a strip club? do-"
"Just shut up!" Shane snapped at him
"All my years I just never thought you'd be in MY life again! You were the pain in my ass ALL. MY. LIFE!"
"You were my high school bully, you tormented me from kindergarten to high school! You were a fucking menace! Your parents told you in front of the whole damn class that you were a fuck up! YOU made my school days a living hell! What changed?! Why did you start praising me like I'm God?! WHY?!" He asked as Harry sighed.
"I knew it was gonna come down to this buddy, but I didn't expect it to gnaw at your noggin' heh." He dryly chuckles before sitting down and setting his beer aside as Shane sighed and sat with him.
"Back in Kindergarten... I was never actually popular myself... every kid was like you, mindin' their own business, making friends, but me? I had no one... My parents never taught me how to properly communicate so I had to rely on movies and tv shows to... you know... make me learn something... and this show... "How I Met Your Mother"... you know Barney?" He asked as Shane nods
"I was inspired by him... that's why you sometimes always see me rent a suit... even though buying one was impossible for me, at least I got to rent one. When I saw you at that corner, studying laws and banking... I thought I found a friend. I guess you saw it as bullying while I saw it as trying to communicate." He said sadly as he took his beer and took a sip as Shane felt a little bad.
"All my life... I've been trying to communicate with you instead of trying to focus on my studies because our friendship was something to me. It's the reason why my parents came to our school and yell at me for failing class... this has gone on for a long time until they kicked me out of the house because I was a disappointment." He revealed as Shane was shocked by this.
"When you picked me as your assistant because you didn't know me from my bear and to my homeless look, I thought... I thought you finally figured out that I was just trying to be your friend, you know?" He looked at Shane with a sad look.
"Oh, Harry, I'm so sorry. I just thought that you were trying to rub in the fact that I can't escape you! I didn't think you were trying to communicate and trying to make me your friend!" he said
"I know... I know... I just... let's forget about this shit and start being best friends/colleagues, 'kay?" he asked and raised his beer.
"Yeah, I'd like that." Shane said as he also raised his beer and the two tap their beers with one another and drank in peace.
"Shane." He heard someone say his name as they looked out the window and were shocked at the appearance of Matt... in a new suit.

"I need your help." He said
"Holy fu-"
"What did you need, Mat?" He asked, not asking about what was with the suit.
"Kingpin's men are helping him escape. I'm going there to intervene but there's another clan that's backing him up but I don't know who it is. I need you to go to Club Elise in Greenwhich to intervene and takedown anyone inside that club. If I fail, then, Kingpin will definitely make a run for Elise so I need you to take him down for me if I fall."
"No you won't." Shane said to him as Matt just smirked before jumping out the window.
The two quickly looked out the window to see him swing around with a new tool.
"Can he always do that?!" Harry asked
"Not actually... I think he got an upgrade."
"Damn... alright, you best hop to it, giddy-up!" Harry said as Shane smiled.
"Okay then." He said as he ran out of the apartment
