Catching Up To Love

So a few days later, we met at a café to catch up. I got there and everyone was already there. I got some hugs before I sat down.
"Well, straight to the point. Where have you been this year, what have you done in that time?" My sister asked
"Well, I wanted to start over after, well, you know..." Thomas looked down with a guilty expression, but I continued
"Well, I went to Manchester first. Trying to find a job, so they told me I could earn a good amount of money if I sang in a famous café called 'The City Club' (A/N: I made it up ok, don't go searching for it in Manchester.) . So I played two days a week, rented a house and yeah, I was pretty satisfied. Then after a few months, the FOB guys came in for a drink to celebrate their final stop on their tour, and they saw me playing one of their songs, I was, and still am, one of their biggest fans. So they thought I was pretty good so they got me in the band to play guitar, bass and to sing a little sometimes. A month ago, our manager announced that we had a tour that ended in London, so here I am I guess." I finished, taking a deep breath
"Wow, that's quite adventurous, I'm glad to see you again." Dylan said
"Me too, I'm glad to see you guys. And as I said Thomas, don't worry, I don't hate you. The past is the past. I realised I was dumb, not listening to your side of the story. I'm sorry for that, and I am also thankful, because I am doing what I want to do now."
As I said that, Thomas' face lit up a bit.
"Well, maybe we could start over again, but slowly this time... We should give us a second chance, if that's okay with you." He murmured, I noticed the rest was already gone, probably wanting us to talk in private.
"I'd like that a lot. I haven't stopped thinking about you, I miss you, but I'm scared to make the same mistake again, me being dumb again, you getting hurt..."
"That's why we should take it slow. We have all the time of the world. I promise, this time, nothing will break us apart." He said, his eyes soft.
"Really?"
