(One year ago)

Karl was in his school hallway with George.
George was talking to him about some show he watched,Karl wasn't listening.
He was fidgeting with his colorful Rubik's cube,wondering if he had enough money to order two pizzas tonight.
George:"whoa,who's the emo?"
Karl raised his head in curiosity.
George pointed behind him and that's where Karl looked.
Christ.

There was a boy walking into through the halls.
He had black hair,like a mullet,covered by a black beanie and Marshall headphones.
He had on a black graphic hoodie that was cut off mid-sleeve,he was wearing a striped red and black shirt under it and wore black jeans with a silver chain.
Karl heard his converse boots stomp in his head.
He felt like this was a dream.
Karl:"whoa...."
George:"mhm..."
The stranger looked around while holding a piece of paper.

Karl:"wait...I'm the school chaperone right?!"
George laughed.
George:"uh yea,you are"
Karl:"SHET"
He stomped on the floor.
George:"stop stop stop stop stop he's coming over here"
George said quickly,Karl looked at Quackity as he stood next to them.
Karl was mesmerized,he was so pretty.
Quackity:"hey um...is one of you Karl?-"
Karl:"I am!- i mean Y-yes that's me.."
Quackity:"Karl ja..cobsss"
He squinted as he read the paper in his hand.

George laughed seconds before the bell rang.
Quackity:"oh shit-"
Karl:"don't worry,as a chaperone I'm allowed to show you around during class"
Quackity:"oh okay"
Quackity smiled.
George awkwardly looked at them both before leaving with everyone else to class.
Karl got something from his locker and closed it.
He smiled at Quackity and started walking with him.

Quackity:"so....is it good?"
Karl:"hm? Is what good?"
Quackity:"the school"
Karl:"oh right! Uh well....it's definitely..a school"
Quackity laughed,Karl blushed like he just kissed him.I MADE HIM LAUGH,IM SO FUNNY.
Karl:"it's pretty alright I guess,since it's a small town there isn't that much but,we have our fair shares of fights and stuff"
Quackity:"and stuff?"

Karl:"welll....last week someone was caught having sex in the middle of our pep rally,and a history teacher cheated on her husband with our pe teacher,anddd corpse sold oxy too a teacher,but don't tell anyone! I wasn't really supposed to say that..."
Quackity:"whao,who's corpse?"
Karl looked at him and dug his face In his hands.
Karl:"right...your new"
Quackity laughed.

Karl looked back up.
Karl:"corpse is a senior,he's pretty popular, and he's in a band,AND he's my friend,we hang out a lot.."
Quackity could tell Karl felt cool telling him this.Karl just smiled proudly.
Karl:"you might not get it now but what i just told you was pretty cool"
Karl smiled,Quackity just laughed.
Quackity:"i hope i learn the value of that information soon...are you In the band?"

Karl:"well...kinda? Yes,i am,I'm the manager!"
Quackity:"wow,cool..you know,you kinda seem like you'd play the guitar,the electric one I mean"
Karl:"REALLY?!"
Karl looked at him,very excited,Quackity smiled.
Quackity:"yea!"
Karl backed away and tried to stop smiling.
Karl:"he's emo,just like you"
Quackity scoffed.
Quackity:"I'm not emo..."

Karl looked at him,up and down.
Karl:"uh,sure."
Quackity:"h-hey?!"
Karl:"what? I think it's super cool! I really like your shirt.."
And everything else.
Quackity:"well thanks,I like yours too.."
They smiled at each other.
Karl:"well,these are the locker rooms!"
He said as he pointed to the blue doors next to them.

Quackity:"hm,are you on a team?"
Karl laughed as they started walking.
Karl:"do I look like I'd be on the football team?"
Quackity looked at him.
Quackity:"nope"
Quackity smiled as Karl rolled his eyes.
