Slightly-off Himejima Headcanon

Headcanon: Since Himejima is blind, he insists on "seeing you", whereas he feels your face to recognize your physical features. He does this just so he can touch you without seeming questionable. 

"Hi Himejima!" I greet my tall friend. His head turns in my direction, a small smile appears on his tear-stained face. 

"Hello, Y/n." he greets back. I approach closer to him and look up. He looks straight ahead. "Do you mind if I see you?" he asks. I swear I could see a small blush behind those tears.

"Sure? But don't you already know my face? And my voice?" I ask, slightly puzzled by his request. 

"I often forget." he answers.
'Unusual...'

"Okay." I agree nonetheless.

Because of height difference and his blindness, I grab his large hands and bring them to my face. His rough hands immediately take action and glide across my skin. He's gentle, and takes his time. His thumbs rub around my nose and travel to my cheeks. His palms cup my jaw and his fingers barely touch my neck. He tucks loose strands of hair behind my ears. He squeezes my chin. At one point his thumb studies my lips. I feel heat rise to my face. 'It's just because he's blind...' I remind myself. 

"You're blushing, Y/n." he smiles. It almost looks like a smirk. Does he realize what he's doing to me? 

"I'm sorry," I apologize to be polite. We're only close acquaintances, barely friends.

"It's alright." he reassures me. 

He then lifts my head up to look at him. He looks down (the best he could) to try and meet my gaze. "It's quite alright." he repeats himself. He seems to be...in a trance?

"Heh, I'm glad it's cool with you, because I don't think I can stop at this rate." I almost stutter, trying to lighten things up a little by being blunt, but I only blush more. 'Dumbass!' 

"You're very beautiful, Y/n." Himejima says. His thumb slowly and subtly swipes across my bottom lip. I'm at a loss for words. 'Oh...my lord..'

For a second, I feel like he's pulling me closer to his face. He leans down a little, but stops midway and straightens his posture again. He takes his hands from my face and gives a small bow. 

"Thank you for reminding me of your beauty." 

A lil note:
Just thought I'd include my boy Himejima. 
Yes, I know I haven't even posted the first chapter yet,
but that's gonna be done tonight.
It's nighttime for me now as I'm typing this,
so that means I'll be working on chapter one right after I post this.
Chapter one is already halfway done,
so it probably won't be too long of a wait.
I know it's pretty silly to post a headcanon + scenario before an actual chapter,
but I just got this idea and couldn't help it. 
I'll probably post headcanons + scenarios between chapters randomly,
depending on when I get ideas for certain characters.
It might've been cringe, idk TwT
