You we're scared when your mother asked you to visit your grandmother since the last you visit you nearly gave her an heart attack because she is stopping you from killing your cousin.

Well your mother told you to brush it off, and move on since it has been a very long time. And she's sure that she have forgiven you.

You just got out still undecided if you would go or not.

Out of the office seeing Vox waiting for you. It made you feel a bit embarrassed since it's been long, and you not knowing how long he's been there.

When he saw you and now was standing formally, the awkwardness was eating you both.
As heading to the café you are going to ask him to come with you since you are comfortable with him.

"Hey demon, I am going to ask you if you could (eat) come with me?" You playfully play your hair. As he looked at you and smirked.

"Where? At a motel-"

"Eww, nevermind."

"I'm kidding, but where?"

"Out of the country."

As you all are now at the dorms   and it's been three days since you asked him to come with you, you we're now packing your clothes at the dorm you heard a knock at the door and saw Vox. No Ike no Mysta just him as you saw him with an snack. No just a plastic bag but a box of snacks.

"Do we both need all of this snacks?" Asked by you, he just replied...

"I do not need all of it but maybe you might need it."

"I am picky but I'll eat this. Thank you tho."

"Of course anything for you."

As you both are now at the airport well you we're both taking a private one.

And you are now at the flight as you we're peacefully sleeping as he was away from you.

Well you've been thinking a lot since from start making you you hungry even more so you eat the snacks that Vox brought.

As you felt a tap on your shoulders but you ignored it. You've been only focus on your thoughts as you eat more.

"Y/n! We're now at the airport." Your thoughts we're interrupted by Vox who taken some chips and tasted it.

As you we're now outside the airport as you both waited at the car that accompany you and Vox at your grandmother.

As now you are at the car you we're wondering why the driver is driving you both is the wrong way, perhaps a short cut? Then a sudden he stopped you looked at we're you are.

You guys are in front at a st. peter chapel. Your heart race began to faster than normal. Maybe it's an other family member?

"Ms, talk to the guard tell him, the number 669 and he'll point at you we're is it ok?" He said and you only nodded and became even more nervous.

"Good afternoon! How May I help you both?" The guard asked as he looked at the both of you.

"Number 669" Vox straighten the point.

As the guard nodded and let you both in. As Vox was behind you, he suddenly hugged you from behind.

At this point you already wanted to cry, "Calm down, You still don't know who is dead, maybe it's her cousin or siblings? That she only visited? Cheer don't yet cry," He cheer as you wiped your tears away.

Then you reached the number. As you looked who's dead at the name of the person and your heart sank as you read the name.

You entered the room and saw your nephew coming to you, "Aunt! We missed you!" Immaculate hugging you.

You took a glance at the coffin and you looked at Vox who tower your height.

As your cousin gave you a sandwich and gave Vox too... You came closer to the coffin and saw your grandmother. Seeing her face was a relief and a pain.

Relief that she doesn't need to suffer anymore and...
Pain, that she will say goodbye.

Salty tears poured down your face and you couldn't help but be emotional.

You thought Vox would stop you but he didn't but instead he came closer and whispered.

"Cry it out."

Ignored his whisper and you continue to cry. You aren't that close to your grandmother but she became strict at you but treat you the same as your cousin too.

As days passed and it's the last you are going to see your grandmother's body, she is getting buried.

As sorrow filled at those moments you've never felt this before but it hurt you seeing her lifeless body to be gone sooner.

As the funeral was done you both head to the room you both have staying in.

As you feel you want to sleep so you did. As the both of you rest you both felt a little relieved when you are sleeping.

As Vox was in a deep slumber he'd dream about a old female that has the same features as you.

As he looked closely after realizing it was your grandmother who is already dead. As the older female made her direction in his, the tried to kill the nervous he had because he knows that if he shows that he's scared the ghost might scare him.

As it made her way to Vox he didn't felt scared like earlier. "Hello there little boy, is saw that you are something to Y/n?" He nodded as she smiled and said.

"Can you protect her in this land? While I protect both of your souls?" Asked while hearing the words he don't want to decline.

Could you blame him anyways? Knowing that he love you? He'll do anything for you.

"Promise me, you won't hurt her. Or else..." She jokingly threaten him that scared the hell out of him.

"She's the only one that cared for me. Please protect her. No matter what it cause. Don't hurt her dear? Promise?"

"I promise I won't hurt her."

"Thank you."

As Vox woked up that he is wet with cold water. "Finally! You woke up! It's literally 12 pm!"

"Come on! I have a dream that I really enjoyed let get back to sleep!"

"Stand up right now I want to eat! Come on!"

Y/n hit Vox just to woke him up,

"Then go buy yourself a snack!"

"But I want you to come with me!"

While Vox sighed he only smile beneath the pillow and said.

❝ Lola don't worry, I will take care at Y/n, I won't hurt her, but she will hurt me. Ack-! ❞
