Andrea T dog Shane Daryl and Kai all went out killing every walker around checking all of the fences around to make sure this never happens again to someone they love

"Alright lets move the vehicles near each one of the doors facing out towars the road we'll build a look out in the windmill another in the barn loft that should give us sight lines both sides of the property "Rick says and Daryl grabs Kais arm so she can help him

"Kai Daryl I need you on double duty standing guard"Rick tells the pair who nod at him "Ill stock the basement with food and water enough that we can all survive there a few days if need be"Hershel says

The two ride up to the house passing everyone "Okay kill Shane if you want to"Daryl whispers to her as they get off and she laughs nudging him "You know I will"She tells him and he gives her a small smile

Kai was getting her room set up she moved her bed making room for whoever needed it Daryl walked in with his bags "You mind?"He asks and she shakes her head "Go ahead"She tells him

Daryl had his sleeping bag too "I have a cot in the closet if you want it"She tells him "Thanks"He says and Isabella walks in "Is Daryl your new roommate?"She asks and Kai chuckles at the girl "You got a problem with that?"Daryl asks nicely which Kai didnt know he was capable of

"Nope Carl and I are gonna have a sleep over so I guess its okay you and my momma sleep together"Isabella says not realizing what she said "Come on Izzy"Carl says "Go on kid"Kai says and she smiles as the two run off

"So I guess we're sleeping together now"Daryl says and Kai laughs pushing him "Stop"She tells him and he smirks "Your kid said it not me" "She doesnt know any better"She tells him

"So you and Daryl?"Maggie asks as her and her sister help bring stuff inside "We're friends"Kai says "mhm"Maggie adds smiling "Just friends Mags"She tells her "That why hes sleeping in your room?"Maggie asks Kai shakes her head walking away from her

Rick walks up to Kai "Kai can we talk?"Rick asks and Kai stops what shes doing "Sure"She says and Rick walks outside away from everyone and she follows

"I want you to keep an eye on everything here for me"He tells her "Dont you have Shane doing that?"She asks "Shane needs watching too"Rick tells her "Oh I know"She says

"Dont worry Rick ill be watching"She tells him "Thank you"He says "You dont have to thank me its my job its my house"She tells him and he smiles "Dont worry ill make sure Daryl gets back safe"He tells her "Rick"She says and he looks at her

"Make sure you both get back safe we need you both"She tells him and he nods smiling and she smiles back "Make sure you stay safe Kai because I know we need you"He tells her and she nods "Im always safe"She says and nudges him and he laughs

"Other than getting into a bunch of fights?"He asks "Oh hush none of those were my fault"She laughs "You sure?"He asks "Okay maybe I started them"She says and the two laugh making their way back to the house

Lori watches as the two talk and laugh walking to the house she felt a ping of jealousy maybe she lost her husband
