More months have past and Kai felt comfortable she never told Daryl how she felt and the two never acted on it but they both knew how each other felt

The four look at the pigs one looking a little under the weather "Whats up with violet?"Carl asks "Carl I told you not to name them"Rick says

"He right they're not piglets anymore they're food"Kai says "We just thought you know until.. fine"Isabella says and sighs along with Carl

"I dont know whats going on with her could be sick could be nothing"Rick says and clicks his tongue at the pig "Feel better Violet"Kai says and the four chuckle

Kai walked off leaving Isabella with Carl and Rick she walked over to Daryl who was walking to the food "Smells good"Daryl says "Just so you know I liked you first"Kai tells him

Daryl smiles at the girl "Stop"He tells her and kisses her head the two shared many moments like this "You know Rick brought in a lot of them too"Daryl says "Not recently"Kai says

"Shes right give the strangers sanctuary keeping people fed you're going to have to learn to live with the love"Carol says "Right"He says

"Come on I need you to see something Patrick how about you help Carol"Kai says "Yes ma'am"He says

"Uh Mr.Dixon I just wanted to thank you for bringing that deer back yesterday it was a real treat sir and id be honored to shake your hand"Patrick says holding his hand out

Daryl licks his fingers before shaking the boys hand who just smiled Kai chuckled "You have a beautiful laugh Mrs Dixon"Patrick says to Kai

Kai laughed even more "We're not married or even together Patrick but thank you"Kai says before dragging a laughing Daryl with her

"About today I dont know if we're gonna be able to spare a lot of people for the run I know you dont want me going but I can"Kai tells him

"That place is good to go we're gonna move on it and no you will not be going"He tells her "Yeah yeah but we had a pretty big build up overnight"She says

She leads him over to where he can see all the walkers on the other side of the fence "Dozens more towards tower three its getting as bad as last month they dont spread out anymore"She points out

"More of us sitting in here we're drawing more of them out you get enough of those damn fence clingers they start to herd up"He explains "Pushing against the fences again its managable but unless we get ahead of it not for long"She tells him

"Sorry Darbear"She says and he nudges her "Ill take Wesley with me they need you here you really stepped up im proud of you"He tells her

"Aww how sweet you're proud of me come here"She says and he backs away "No stop it"He tells her and goes to walk away but she hugs him "Shut up"She tells him smiling feelign him hug her back

Daryl was getting ready to leave and Kai walked over "Be careful"Kai tells him "Always am"He says and Wes walks over "Dont worry ill take care of your lover boy"Wes says

"Shut it"Kai says and smiles "You be careful too Wesley"She tells him and ne nods "Kai say goodbye to your boyfriends"Glenn says walking over "Hmm im gonna kick your ass"She tells him

The four share a laugh "Alright im leaving I got some stuff to take care of anyways"She says and pats Glenns shoulder before walking off

Kai went and helped with the walkers on the fence "Hey Kai"Karen says "Karen hows it going?"She asks "Good glad you're coming to help we could use it"Karen says with a smile

"Anything to help"Kai says and smiles back at Karen Kai grew close to these people and she did step up and help with everything she could she became a leader

"Come on Kai"Rick says walking over to her and she nods going with him the two walk through the woods and Kai picks up a rabbit she just killed and handed it to Rick who put it in a bag

The pair walked up to a deer torn apart "Gross"She whispered looking at the flys all around its mouth Rick nudged her and pulled her behind a tree

The two began to walk away "Wait"A woman said and the pair turn around "Please"She says "Please"

"Please help me"The woman says "I know you dont know me okay I know that but can you please help me get this to my husband?"She asks

"We havent eaten in days"She tells them Rick walks over to her and Kai follows Rick offers he some food "Here go ahead"He says and she walks up and takes it "Thank you"She says

"Do you have a camp around here?"She asks "Yeah"Rick answers "Could we possibly come back with you?"She asks

"We've been doing very badly on our own"She says and Rick looks to Kai "We have to meet him ask some questions both of you"Kai tells the woman

"What questions?"She asks "Just three when we get there"Rick tells her and she nods "You have a gun on you?"Rick asks and she shakes her head no "Can I check?"Kai asks and she nods

Kai pats her down and looks for a gun but the woman did have one "Look we dont know you some im just gonna tell you this you try anything anything you're gonna be the one who loses"Rick tells the woman

"I dont have anything else to lose"She tells him "No you do"Kai says handing the woman her knife back "Go ahead"Rick says and she starts walking

Kai looks to Rick who nods and the pair follows the woman
