How The World Works For Dummies, the book of the year written by legendary veteran and writer David Desmond. Its purpose is to as the title says explain how the world works for dummies or those who lived a sheltered life. In the case of Y/n, it was the latter.

His parents limited what he was able to know. Such as what sex is, and how babies are made. Even going so far as to apply parental locks on every website would corrupt their child. However, they allowed him to use others such as Youtube, Twitch, and Twitter as long as one of them was in the room.

Being imprisoned by controlling parents leads to issues. For one he lacked knowledge that others would believe is basic. Another was being homeschooled caused him to develop little if any social skills. He does not know how to deal with these awkward situations he finds himself in.

Such as this moment. Rosemi Lovelock a pink-haired girl he met meer minutes ago has led him to her friends. Caught up in his thoughts Y/n was not paying attention to his surroundings and ran into a pole.

However, thanks to the wise one, David Desmond, and his book that he can keep a tiny amount of his dignity intact. Shrugging it off, not as if it didn't happen but instead as if it barely affected him.

Yet, it still got the reaction of making people laugh. Something that the book said was a good thing because laughter is an icebreaker.

Selen: Don't get too used to it.

Rosemi: Y/n are you alright? Did you break any of your bones?

Y/n: "I don't think my body is so weak that I'd break a bone. At most I could have broken my nose or maybe a black eye." N-No I'm fine. I was just distracted.

Selen: You were more than just distracted dude.

He just stood there in silence.

Y/n: "How exactly do I respond to that comment? You're right I was thinking to myself like I do most of the time or maybe something more simple. Probably something more simple." Yup.
