Minecraft is a game where you get to build structures that define logic, fight monsters, and rob villagers. You can normally play this on a mobile device, game system, or computer.

All of those options stated allow you to do so from the safety of your home and behind the screen. But what if you get that safety taken away from you?

Instead of playing behind the screen, you are thrown into the game. Not only that but every once of damage that your character normally takes is felt by you.

Well, that is the case of Y/n. Someone who was convinced by a total stranger to follow him and thrown into the game. The man claimed it was to show that the age of science has not yet ended. But maybe this man is just some sort of mad scientist.

Currently, in virtual reality, Y/n is running for his life. Just like a victim in a slasher film, he has stopped running.

Instead, he lies on the floor with his back against a nearby dirt block. The reason why he's stopped running is the exact scenario that is memed upon.

Taking an arrow in the knee.

As he lies on the ground looking at the block-shaped clouds in the sky. The game's mobs are closing the distance he managed to create.

All hope to avoid any further pain from being inflicted was beginning to disappear.

Y/n: I'm never going to be so trusting of a man in a lab coat again. Even if they promise that they're going to show me something cool.

The first mob to come into view was a green four-legged creature.

Y/n: Of course, the monster that's first is the one that explodes. The pain going to be like a tsunami's worth but at least it'll be quick.

The creeper stood next to him. It hissed as its entire body was flashing white. Y/n closed his eyes and began to anticipate the pain to come.

Boom!

Yes, there was no one to save him.

In the real world, he leaped into the air out of his chair like a rocket. Once he landed back on the ground he was flopping around like a fish on land while groaning in pain.

Now that he died in the game what he was able to see had changed. There were two options respawn or return to the main menu. Lifting his hand he tapped the main menu option and was now on the title screen.

The headset was removed from his head. He looked up and saw the man from earlier standing over him.

Random Man: Holy shit! I can't believe you're still alive. That's impressive, especially since the last person died.

Y/n: "Wait the last person died. Then why would he think this time it would work? I could have died too."

Random Man: I'll need to make some major adjustments for next time. Thanks for being my guinea pig.

Y/n "I just thought that I was going to be beta testing a new video game... technically that was sort of true."

He was just left there on the floor. Unaware that another person was approaching him.
