"Your own private spot?" I ask once we get out of her Charger.

"Yeah. I normally come here when I need some time to myself." Ahri says as we walk to a spot next to a lake, "Go ahead and take a seat."

"Thanks." I say sitting on the grass, "I won't tell anyone about it."

"That's good," She says sitting next to me, "because if you did then I'd have to kill you."

"Funny joke, Ahri." I say with a nervous laugh and see she's actually serious, "A-Anyways, you were going to get to know me better and I'd get to know you better."

"Go ahead and tell me about your past, Y/N." She says overlapping one leg over the other, "Because I'm real interested in it."

I sit in thought for a few more seconds before finally speaking, "Well, I'm a Freljordian by birth. My mother snuck my sisters and me away while my father was passed out drunk one day when we were very young. Once we arrived here in Piltover she worked odd-jobs for all kinds of hours until one night she just never came home. I remember that night all too well but that's another story for a different day. I basically raised my sisters with a little bit of help while I was still in high school and some college until... let's just say there's reason for the withered rose tattoo right here."

She looks at my forearm and the tattoo before she has a look of shock, "I remember hearing about her."

"Who didn't? Her murder was all over the news." I somberly say before sighing, "Anyways, freshman year of college is where I met Eve. She was a junior that year, so at first we were a bit rocky but after a few months of gaining one another's trust everything leveled out until she graduated. After getting into a few more fights in my junior year I just decided to drop out since I was alone again, I became a merc and in the process I met one of my last friends that I had until I botched my last job."

"And that's how Eve found you in that ditch." She says and I nod, "To say you've had it rough is a slight understatement."

"Heh, yeah." I say looking at the lake, "But I kept moving on and I'm trying to better myself now, it just ain't easy."

"There's the bright side, Y/N, at least you're trying." She says patting my shoulder, "Now I guess it's only fair I told you my life story."

"If you want to." I say before looking back at her and shrugging my shoulders.

"I had a slightly similar upbringing in Ionia except I never really knew who my parents were. I was the popular girl in high school and ironically that's where I first met Eve. She's really the only true friend that stuck around after we graduated." She says with a smile at the memory, "But before all of this happened, I was a waitress who sang as a side gig."

"And then you decided you wanted to do it as an actual career." I say and she nods, "You know how risky that was?"

"Just under one percent but I didn't let that stop me. I sent a demo to every record label I could for months until one finally called me back one day." She says looking out at the lake, "After two years with that label I broke my contract because I didn't feel "free," y'know?"

"Yeah." I say after she looks back at me.

"Not long after that I had a chance run-in with Eve, we got to talking and here we are," She says extending her arms out, "on top of the world."

We sit in silence for about a minute before I sigh, "You know what's for lunch?"

"No clue but you sound like Akali." She says before giggling and standing up, "Guess we can go back since it should be ready when we get there."

"Sounds good to me." I say getting up, "What do you think their doing?"

"That's a good question." She says pulling her keys out of her shorts pocket.

Kai'sa's POV

"This is why we don't let you use the oven, Akali!" Eve yells as she extinguishes the flame on the stove with a fire extinguisher, "You're almost as bad as Ahri!"

"Don't insult my skills like that!" Akali yells back at her before leaving and Eve puts down the fire extinguisher.

"Looks like we're ordering takeout." I mumble before Eve walks out, "Guess I should let Ahri know."

Y/N's POV

"What do you want to eat?" Ahri asks me as she turns left, "We're ordering food tonight instead of cooking it."

"Guess wherever y'all get it from." I say shrugging my shoulders, "Anything really."

"Gotcha." She says turning right, "We'll probably talk about it more when we get there."

"Sounds good to me." I say laying the seat back and closing my eyes.

A little bit more insight into your past, what else are we going to find out? Ahri must have some trust in you to tell you about her past but trust can be such a fragile thing.
