Chapter 13

I sigh as I drag my arm off my face and slowly open my eyes to the darkness in my room, "Note to self, never get on Ahri's bad side again."

Last night

"Where did you two go?!" Ahri shouts at Akali and me, "Do you even care that you're still employed with us, Y/N?!"

"Yeah but Akali offered to help me blow off some steam so I took her up on it." I say as Eve sips on a glass of wine.

"In the suit no less." Eve says setting down the glass, "I'll let it slip this one time, Y/N."

"Thanks I guess." I say before Ahri grabs my shoulders, "Yeah?"

Whatever perfume she used tonight is invading my nostrils and it smells way too good, "This is the last chance you get, don't screw it up or else."

"Sure thing." I say before she lets me go, "Well I'm going to get a shower and then some sleep."

"Night dude." Akali says and Ahri loudly clears her throat, "I didn't plan on anything else, so let's get this over with."

Present time

I heard all of that upstairs, through the walls, over the water and my music on full blast, Ahri's got some lungs that's for sure.

I yawn before realizing I'm going out with Akali to meet her friends today. I get up and walk to my closet to grab a shirt and a pair of jeans.

Akali's POV

"What's up, Ekko?" I ask after Ekko answers his phone.

"Just chilling." Ekko says before I hear something pop open, "Watching some sports."

"Get everyone at the studio, got someone I want you guys to meet." I say before hanging up.

Y/N's POV five minutes later

A knock comes from my bedroom door so I turn my phone off and put it in my pocket before standing up and walking to the door.

"Wow, you're already ready." Akali says after I open the door, "Let's go I guess."

"So who are these girls anyways?" I ask walking out of my room.

"Guys and girls." She says correcting me and I roll my eyes as we walk down the hallway, "You'll find out soon though."

"Fine but we're taking my car though." I say pulling out my keys once we get to the stairs, "Nothing personal, just want to take my baby out again."

"Whatever floats your boat, dude." She says as we get to the bottom of the stairs, "You're gonna love them though."

"What kind of personalities am I looking at?" I ask before Ahri stops us, "Morning to you too, boss."

"Where do you two think you're going?" Ahri asks and I look at Akali.

"Meeting some friends." Akali says in a chilled tone.

"Really?" Ahri asks and we both nod.

"Just stop interrogating them and let them go, Ahri." Eve says and Ahri huffs before walking away.

"Must be getting close to that time again." Akali mumbles before we start walking again.

"What?" I ask and she stops at the front doors before looking at me, "Akali?"

"We need to find you somewhere else to stay for about a month... or two... or three." She says and I shrug my shoulders, "Not even in the least bit curious?"

"You know her better than I do so I'm not going to question it." I say and we continue walking.

Third POV one hour later

"What happened this time?" Kai'sa asks walking into the living room, "Was it-"

"Just leave her be." Evelynn says before Kai'sa nods, "What about Damien and you?"

"We're on a break." Kai'sa says before walking away and to her room.

Kai'sa closes her bedroom door before walking to her bed and sitting down on the edge.

"Hey narrator, got a minute?" Kai'sa asks looking at the narrator, "I just want to talk."

"About what exactly?"

"When am I going to get some time with Y/N?" She asks and the narrator looks at the author who shrugs his shoulders.

"What about-"

"You just said it, we're on a break." She says and the narrator looks at the author who, once again, shrugs his shoulders, "So..."

"All I'm allowed to say is that you'll find out in the future."

Now back to our regularly scheduled story, Jesus that was awkward.

Y/N's POV

"Wait a minute, aren't you QuickastheWind420?" I ask looking at a man covering half his face, "Said you'd kick my ass if you ever met me in person."

"That... was a moment of drunken rage." The man says before Akali clears her throat.

"Y/N meet Yasuo." Akali says and the man raises his hand before she points at another guy, "That's Ekko."

"Sup." The guy named Ekko says to me, "So you know Yasuo already?"

"One game on Rust, one-on-one after he wanted to challenge me." I say and this causes Ekko to laugh and Yasuo to facepalm.

"Anyways, that's Senna." Akali says and the woman waves at me so I wave back, "And over there's Qiyana."

I look at the pink and blue haired tanned girl and she looks at me and gives a warm smile, "Hey."

"Hey." I say before Akali pats my back.

"Now the important question, who's hungry?" Akali asks and we all sigh, "What?"

"Food is all you think about, girl." Ekko says and everyone laughs, including Akali.

"I'm not going to deny that." Akali says before laughing again.

"Sushi?" Yasuo asks and is met with a mixed reaction.

"I know a bar that's got good drinks but I don't know about the food." I say and notice Ekko thinking about something, "Any ideas, Ekko?"

"I knew this girl who runs her dads old bar down in Zaun." Ekko says before looking at his phone and continuing, "Everything there is pretty good or at least it was the last time I was there."

"Guess it sounds like somewhere we can go. Anyone disagree?" Akali asks and no one says anything, "Looks like you'll get to know everyone while we're there, sober or drunk."

"Sounds like fun." I say reaching for my keys, "So you guys there I guess."

"See you there you two." Senna says as Akali and me start walking away from them, "Drive safe."

"Yeah, Y/N, drive safe." Akali jokingly says before shake my head and roll my eyes.

Hope y'all enjoyed the chapter, I'm unwinding with some friends tonight for the first time in months so working on chapters today is done. Like I said though, hope y'all enjoyed it and I'll see y'all in the next update.
