Tried to update as fast as I could, hope you like this chapter ♡

I was thinking of ending the chapter at 3k words and publishing it yesterday but my perfectionist personality couldn't let me do it until I reached 4k+ lol.

Louis has been waiting to get this envelope a few days now.

So it's not a surprise that he received it a few moments just before they got ready for their appointment.

What is a surprise is that Jay sent Daisy up to their room to give it to him and obviously, Louis just had to be in the bathroom when she arrived and gave the letter to Harry instead.

Now, he is getting a scolding from Harry.

"Why didn't you tell me that you got in contact with my mother! " Harry asked and threw the still closed envelope at him as soon as he stepped outside.

"Did you open it? " Louis asked making Harry shook his head.

"I saw the address! I would never open something that's not mine! " Harry exclaimed making Louis sigh out in relief

"Listen, you have every right to be mad at me baby, but it wasn't my fault. " He said, approaching him slowly and taking his hand to make him sit on the bed before crouching down in front of him. He kissed his knuckles softly, watching as Harry's face relaxed as soon as his lips touched his skin. "She just sent me a letter by her lawyer saying that I have to sign it so she wouldn't be your legal guardian anymore " He said gently.

"You signed it? " Harry asked making Louis nod.

"I was going to tell you after our appointment today, I don't want you to stress over things and I know that this would upset you " Louis smiled softly, squeezing his hands.

"Hug, I need a hug" Harry said, with glossy eyes and leaned down so he could tug Louis's still crouching body towards him.

"I know I should have talked to you before signing it, I'm sorry. " Louis said after a few moments into the hug.

" Don't worry about it, what's that letter saying though? "He asked and pulled away, getting up to grab it from the floor, ignoring the pain on his back. " So, she is basically saying that she doesn't want to do anything with me or the baby " He concluded after they have read the letter.

Louis only hugged him again and kissed his curls gently. He wanted to be there for Harry.

"Oh, hello boys " Doctor Hemmings smiled at them as they entered his office after knocking. "How are things going? " He asked as they say down in front of his desk to discuss a bit before they start with their appointment.

"Good, I have been taking my vitamins like you told me to, " Harry said but when Louis judged him he frowned, "um, I've been really nauseous, like more than usual and my back hurts" Harry said honestly even though he was embarrassed for some reason.

At least he had Louis with him.

"Nausea may be your constant companion. It is estimated 70-80 percent of people in the 1st trimester of pregnancy will experience nausea to some degree. Try to avoid your blood sugar dropping too low. Don't miss meals, snack between meals, and eat foods which are easy to digest." The doctor said and Louis grabbed Harry's hand when he saw him shift around in his seat, clearly ashamed, " You may be more aware of a heaviness or full feeling in your pelvis. You may feel this more after you've eaten a full meal or when you need to pee. "He continued making Harry flush red as he nodded, showing his understanding. "You also may be more tired and want to lie down and rest this week and that's okay. "
