Izara sat in the chair looking at everyone running around , while the music was blasting in the party room.
"Okay , Okay guys I think i'm ready to go out now" Izara said

"Thatssss my mini meeeeee" Kaliah Screamed
Izara was covering her face and blushing at all the complaints she was getting.
Then she spotted Roc and went to him and hugged him.
Roc handed her a jewelry box, she opened and saw a chain making her tear up.

As he did, Izara's dad glared at him, making him glare back.
2 Hour laters
Everyone started to leave, it was just me , Roc and a couple of members of my family.
" I'm tired" Izara said to Roc
"You want to go home" Roc said wrapping his arm around her waist
Izara's dad saw this and came to snatch Izara up.

"Izara I told you to stop hanging with this boy , yet you sit up here in front of my family members all up on him" He whisper-yelled at Izara
"It's my birthday, I don't care for them" Izara said, tearing up.

Izara's dad walked away, escorting family out of the event.
Izara went into the bathroom, and Kaliah followed her.
Izara bussed out crying " I do everything to make him happy and he just always points out my mistakes. This morning he barely even looked at me when he said happy birthday. I make sure I have the perfect grades, make sure I get into the perfect college everything and he just d-d-doesn't care."
Kaliah gave her a tissue
"Mini me you're going to be okay, we are here for you, okay I promise you. We are going to get through this together."
We heard a knock on the door before Roc entered
"Princess" Roc came over to me
"NO don't come in" Izara said wiping the tears off her face
"Kaliah I can have a min" Roc said
Kaliah got up giving Izara a kiss on forehead walking out
Roc grabbed a tissue wiping Izara face giving her kisses all over, causing her to smile
"Ma, you finna be good, you just turned 18 this ya day don't let him ruin this. You been waiting for this day to be grown.. Yea?" roc said smiling

"Naw , come on we can go back to my place" Roc said cutting her off
