A New Start

Chapter 1

"Class is over for the summer!" Mrs. Benton says with so much enthusiasm.
I look at Jillian and she looks at me. We laugh and smile as we walk out of the classroom into the loud hallway. Once we get outside I jump for joy and run to the jeep.
"Cmon Jilli!" I said running to the jeep.
"Venus SLOW DOWN! I know you want to get home to our babies but SLOW DOWN!" Jillian yelled at me.
I sigh and slow down waiting.
"You know you want to see blue!"
She starts to fiddle with her lip ring so I know she's hiding something. I laugh knowing she wants to get home so I get in the jeeps and start it.
"JILLI!!!!! HURRY!!!! My puppy is waiting!!!!" I yell at her as she starts to get in the car.
"Good lord Venus! Calm your face!" She yelled back.
We both laugh and start to drive home. We pull up to the house. I walk up to the door and unlock it. I hear barking and little clicks knowing the dogs are running to the door. Lucifer comes to my legs wanting to be picked up.
"Hey baby! How Momma's little boy?"
He squirms and gets all excited.
"Jilli your baby wants you!" I say smiling.
She comes running in screaming,"BLUE!!!!"
We both laugh and I shut the door and lock it putting the alarm on. I walk into my bedroom and put Lucifer on the bed. I then changed into my lounging clothes, which was leggings and a t-shirt. I walked back downstairs to Jilli and Blue.
"Why'd you change?" Jilli asked me looking kind of hurt.
"Whatcha mean?" I asked confused.
"I thought we were going to the go kart track."
"We are I was just getting out of my school clothes because of hey were sweating."
She nods and smiles so I know she excited. We put the puppies out side to go to the bathroom and they come back in and we turn off the alarm and we walk to the car.
We both get in and I start driving to the track. We pull up and both get out. I ask Jilli to put my hair up for me. She nodded and I laced my shoes up tighter. Once she finishes I do hers so just in case we see some cute boys they'll think we are cute, too.
We walk inside and get two carts one for me and one for Jilli. We get in our carts and I see to boys get into theirs, too. I smile and we wait for the light to turn green. The light turns green and we start to go. I see one of the boys pass. Wow he was cute!
We finish the race the cute boy who passed me came in first, second Jilli, third the other cute boy, and then me LAST! Well after the go karts we walked inside and played around in the game room.
