Audrey walks into school and is immediately ambushed by Betty "Audrey, can we talk?" she asks. "Uh, yeah, sure." Audrey nods. "I spoke to Polly and...it turns out she already knew about you and Jason. He'd told her the day after it happened, she doesn't hate you and she told me not to ruin our friendship over it." Betty tells her. "Sh-she did?" Audrey asks. "Yeah. I'm sorry for all the horrible stuff I said about you and to you, none of it is true. I was just angry and upset because of it all." Betty apologises. "I understand Betty, I just want to forget about it all." Audrey tells her. "Friends?" Betty asks. "Friends." Audrey nods. "Good, come on. Let's go find the others." Betty smiles, linking her arm in Audrey's has they walk off.
The two friends sit with Archie, Veronica, Jughead and Kevin in the common room and talk about what's happened with Polly going missing "My mom and dad don't want to get the police involved. They don't want anyone to know that she ran away, or about her shameful condition." Betty explains, Audrey looking down at the thought of Polly being pregnant. "Please. What decade is this?" Veronica scoffs, Audrey nodding. "Also, since she knew where Jason's getaway car was, they're afraid people might think that she burned it and that if she did... She could be the murderer, trying to cover her tracks." Betty adds. "Who did burn the car, then?" Audrey asks. "Sheriff Keller says it's possible someone was following us." Betty says, talking about her and Jughead finding the car late that night after he'd left Audrey. "Oh, my God. Honestly, guys, we should just move." Veronica tells them. "Guys, what if Polly's really hurt? What if whoever killed Jason is coming after her next?" Betty sighs, Audrey holding her hand in comfort. "Betty, even though your parents don't want to, maybe you should go to the police." Archie suggests. "Second it. We can talk to my dad together about how he has to be discreet." Kevin nods. "No offense, Kev, but your dad answers to a higher authority than God, the Blossoms. They're the first people that he would tell. And if there's anyone to keep this a secret from, it's the Blossoms. They'd twist it around and go after Polly out of spite." Audrey tells him, Jughead agreeing. "How can we help? Tell us, B, and we'll do it." Veronica tells Betty.
Soon after Audrey sits with Jughead, her legs on his as he plays with her hair "I saw you and Betty are back on good terms." Jughead tells her. "Polly knows about what happened, she has since the day after. She told Betty not to ruin our friendship when she doesn't blame me herself." Audrey responds. "At least you've got your friend back." Jughead smiles. "Guys, we have a problem. Go look at Cheryl's Twitter." Archie tells them, rushing in. "Hashtag 'Polly Cooper killed my brother' Hashtag 'nowhere to hide,' Hashtag 'sharpen your pitchforks'". Shit, we need to find Polly before the Blossom's find her." Audrey says, reading out Cheryl's tweet.
Everyone gathers in Eversgreen Forest to search for Polly, Fred staying home with Austin so Audrey can help "Okay, the Sisters of Quiet Mercy are due north. The getaway car was west, on the Old Route. The closest bus station is east, headed towards Sweetwater." Audrey starts. "If Polly wanted to leave Riverdale without anyone seeing her, she probably would've left through..." Jughead continues. "Right here. Eversgreen Forest." Betty finishes, everyone beginning to search for Polly. Audrey links her arm with Jughead as they walk through the forest "So, you and Betty made up?" he asks. "Yeah, she explained that Polly already knew and didn't want us to ruin our friendship over it." Audrey responds. "Have you told her about A?" Jughead asks. "No, I... I'm scared to. Especially with Polly being..." Audrey explains. "Hey, do it in your own time. I'll be there for you when you decide to tell her." Jughead promises, pulling her to a stop. "Thanks Juggie." Audrey smiles.
