Texas Guys ep. 19- "You Are She"

Chapter 3

Sometime later, Newton's mother, Wilma Weekes walked into the house and kissed her son on the cheek.

"Congratulations, New-tootchka!" she squealed.

Then she looked at Shauna and said "And to you, my darling!" 

Shauna let Wilma kiss her cheek and said "Thanks, Wilma".

Just then, another woman shakily entered with an anxious expression.

"You must be Mrs Leicester. Welcome!" said Newton with a smile.

The other woman stiffly turned her head and nodded.

"Hi, Mrs Leicester! I'm Shauna" said Shauna holding out her hand.

Mrs Leicester awkwardly shook hands with Shauna and forced a smile.

"Is my son here?" she said.

"Yes. He's here. He's been waiting for you" said Newton.

Dudley came out and Mrs Leicester showed him an actual reunion.

"Welcome to Galveston, Mum" said Dudley.

"Thank you, son" said Mrs Leicester.

"Mum... I'd like you to meet my girlfriend, Penelope" said Dudley.

"Hi. I'm Penelope Creed" said Penelope.

"Lavender Leicester" said Dudley's mother kindly.

"Penelope is very easy to get along with, Mum; she's nothing to worry about" said Dudley.

"Well, as long as she doesn't take you too far forward" said Lavender.

"Too far forward?" Penelope whispered.

"That's what she always said to me when I tried to leave for school. She's also the reason I couldn't read until I was eleven" said Dudley. 

"So you're my son's partner's mother?" said Wilma with a smile.

"Yes?" said Lavender.

"Then perhaps you and I could have a dance at my son's wedding!" said Wilma enthusiastically. 

Instead of answering, Lavender backed away fearfully.
