Klaus walked inside his chambers and threw the first thing he saw on the floor which was a flower vase.
The Petrova doppelgänger had escaped and turned herself into a vampire, his last chance at finally breaking his curse was gone as the doppelgänger line would not continue.
Why was it always him? He thought, first his parents killed him and turned him into a vampire against his will, then when he found out he has a soulmate she wouldn't show up, then his werewolf side gets bound by magic and his only hope was killed by his brother, then he finds out about another doppelgänger and now.... She ran away too.
He knew for a fact it was his brother that warned Katerina Petrova because he was smitten by her just like he was to her ancestor Tatia.
Klaus then felt something warm trickling down his cheek. He reached up to see that it was a tear.
