sunday comes by and you're up at 6:30 am. you had to drive to your parents house for a little family breakfast. you mentally prepared yourself the questions they might ask you.

no dad, i'm not sleeping with diego. yes mom, we are really seeing each other. no, i wont let him buy you both a new car even though he probably would.

the car ride was just you alone with your thoughts. you wondered what diego was doing at the moment. probably asleep is what you imagined. then you get a flashback from yesterday.

his cute face sleeping with some drool on the side. the way he refused to get up when you first called him. diego seemed too good to be true. he treats you right, isn't afraid to show you off and overall just a great guy.

a few minutes later, you're parking in front of your parents house. they must've heard your car pull up because they were already outside with bright smiles.

before you can even take off your seatbelt, your mother runs to open the door. her bright smile is quickly turns to a frown. "y diego?"

"then why'd you come." the audacity of this woman that you call your mother. "well i've missed you too ma." you said sarcastically.

"we saw the flowers he sent you. seems like he knows how to play his cards right in this love game." your father crosses his arms and walks back inside the house.

"let's go inside mija. maybe we can call that boyfriend of yours."

meanwhile, diego was in his new place. it was a decent sized home. 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and a huge flat backyard with a large pool. okay, maybe it wasn't just decent sized. but compared to all of his teammates, this house was smaller than there's.

he walks around the new house, thinking what he should and shouldn't buy. diego invited you because he wants you to also feel at home. he knew it was stupid since the two of you aren't even dating. but in his mind, the more you like his home and feel comfortable in there, the more you'll willingly come over his place.

it was also another excuse to hand out with you. he couldn't get enough of you. some of his close friends thought you did brujería or something because this man was WHIPPED.

diego goes on instagram to make sure he is to repost the flowers. he wanted every guy, and girl, to know that you guys were to be dating very soon. at least that's what he planned.

since he wanted to ask you to be his girlfriend, he turns to the wisest person he knows.
