diego slowly approaches you and kevin as if you were wild animals. his steps were small and didn't make any noise. the both of you stared him down, one with anger and the other with sadness.

"i think we should take a break or just see other people." you didn't want to hear him out. it was clear enough to you that he still wanted to talk to britney. without not knowing the full story, why else would he be talking to her?

"you seriously believe britney over me?? are you serious right now?? y/n let's go back upstairs and talk it out." he chased after you and tried pulling you closer to him. you turned around and slapped him.

you felt bad but after what he's done you knew it was well deserved. all the screenshots and photographs were proof enough for both you and kevin.

"you're, you're not seriously breaking up with me are you..?" his voice was in a hushed whisper and on the verge of cracking. you had no response and continued walking back to the room. you didn't care what he had to say and neither did kevin.

diego couldn't believe his girlfriend, or ex girlfriend, and best friend didn't believe him. kevin stood behind him in anger. he had trusted diego to not let his relationship be ruined. even after the serious talk they had in the restroom, kevin expected so much more from diego.

"diego i thought you were serious about y/n. what happened? why'd you cheat?"

"I DIDNT- i didn't fucking cheat kev. you have to believe me. i have screenshots of her lying." he pulls out his phone and shows the messages between britney and him.

though it didn't go through kevin since the first thing kevin read was diego lies. so understandably he said, "y/n's pregnant?"

"what? oh, wait no. i lied so she'd leave us alone but i don't think it'll work."

"why would you lie about that? god you're so stupid diego." kevin's face was in pure disgust with diego. he clearly had no idea how to handle big issues like britney. "you really can't do anything for yourself, can you diego?"

"but you have to understand britney set me up. she went to my house with those gifts then called paparazzi on herself. she literally told me and i have the screenshots."

"THEN SEND IT TO Y/N WHY ARE YOU SHOWING ME??"

kevin yelling at him made him flinched. though he was completely right. he was trying to convince the wrong person.

his heart drops to the bottom is his chest when he felt your phone buzz in the back of his pocket. kevin rolled his eyes and scoffed once he realizes diego had your phone.

everything that he's ever done in the past that made you upset starts to get to him. he should've just blocked britney and cleared the air. he should've just told you the truth. everything could've been prevented if he just communicated properly.
