The day of the Sexy Suds Fundraiser approaches and Kayla finds herself running around trying to make sure everything is in order.

"Signs are up, towels are out. We are officially open for business" Kayla grins as she skips over to Caroline with Jeremy behind her holding a stack of towels and a big sign

"When I said I'd help you set up, I didn't think you were going to have me doing manual labor" The boy scoffed before the girls Caroline was instructing grabbed the towels and sign from the Gilbert before excusing themselves

Kayla turned and caressed his face "You poor baby. I know those towels were so heavy and we walked such a long distance"

Jeremy rolled his eyes but didn't move from the girls hold

Caroline eyes the two before silently laughing when she saw Elena wave at her
"Oh i'll be back. I gotta make sure Elena knows the drill"

Kayla nods as she pulls away from Jeremy
"Now Gilbert, you either help out, donate or get out of my fundraising space"
"Sometimes I think you don't like me Kay-Kay...the I remember how you act when it's just us"

Jeremy smirked and ducked back from the Salvatore girl who swung at him
"Go home Gilbert"

Turning around Kayla heads towards the ticket table where Caroline sat greeting people

When her friend approached, the blonde looked up and spoke "Your husband went home?"
"Ha ha ha. You. Funny. Bitch"

Caroline threw her head back in laughter
"I'm serious tho, you two look very coupley"

Rolling her eyes Kayla sighs as she sits down "Well all he has to do is ask but I refuse to be a distraction. So he needs to get his school stuff straight and the drug thing too"

"The drug thing still?"
"Not as much but enough"
"Vicky isn't a problem anymore right?"
"Oh please, Vicky was pothole in the road, not crater"

As the two girls keep talking and laughing while collections tickets, Elena walked up
"Hey, we're out of towels and those shimmy things"

Kayla frowned in confusion "Already? What are they like giving them away? I literally had Jeremy bring out like all the towels"
"I'll get some more-" Caroline started to stand before Kayla placed a hand on her shoulder

"No no I mean I literally had Jeremy bring out all of the towels we brought to the school. I'll have to go home get some more."

Kayla stood up and grabbed her bag and keys
"Want me to come?" Caroline offered

"You don't have to love. I'll be quick and they need at least one of us here to make sure things go right"

Caroline and Elena wave Kayla off as she pulls out of the school and makes her way home

As the teen drove she called Zach who's phone went straight to voicemail. With a sigh Kayla started speaking to leave a message

"Hey Zach, Im headed back home. Apparently these volunteers thought we were giving handouts like this isn't a car wash. Anyways, do you by chance remember where you put the extra cases of those towel packs we ordered from the store? Im not sure if they were in the garage or basement- eh I'll just check both. Side note, where have you been? You don't call, you don't text or even answer my calls and texts. Are you dating? I don't have problem with that and my mom wouldn't either but I will have a problem with not meeting her. She could be a murder- OMG she hasn't been in the house has she? Please don't invite murders into our home. At the very least do you know how to work the taser? Gosh let me not baby you before you try and lecture me about you being the parent.
