The Glorious Masquerade Part 1

Y/n sat by Yuu waiting for the headmaster to make his answer. Grim bounced around being a nuisance like usual. Behind them were their Heartslaybul friends. The demon turned around in her seat to face Trey who was directing behind her.

"Do you know what this is about?" She asked.

Riddle leaned over. "I'm sure it's about an exchange meeting in the Shaftlands."

"Exchange meeting?" She questioned.

"It's where select students go to meet other students from other places, see new things, and stuff like that." Cater told her.

Trey turned her back around. "I think Crowley is ready."

"Hello! I have come to announce the upcoming exchange meeting." The bird man started.

Ace rolled his eyes. "That totally sounds boring."

"It will be hosted in flower town. Many activities will take place including a ball."

Y/n's eyes widened in fear and she shrunk in her seat. The last time she went to a ball she made a complete fool out of herself. "Not another ball."

"It is an extravagant masquerade ball so be prepared." Crowley finished.

Her interest was piqued. "Masquerade?"

Yuu chuckled. "That sounds like fun."

"But only 11 students will attend. To determine the students I will draw names!" The headmaster pulled out a large box surprising everyone.

"A drawing?" Riddle frowned.

"I thought he would pick the people with the best grades," Trey added.

Crowley began to rummage through the box. "Riddle Rosehearts, Deuce Spade, Ruggie Bucchi, Leona Kingscholar, Azul Ashengrotto, Jamil Viper, Vil Schoenheit, Epel Felmier, Silver, and Sebek Zigvolt."

After the announcement people began leaving either to pack or to sulk. Yuu and Y/n were asked to stay back. It was pretty routine at this point that they would be getting some sort of job for this event.

"During this trip, I would like if Yuu would accompany the other as a....chaperone. Just take care of them and don't let them get into trouble." Crowley told him before turning to Y/n. "As for you I will be adding you to the group, you're our only exchange student and bring a lot of knowledge to the table. It would almost be wrong if I did send you."

"You hear that Yuu? Looks like you'll be taking care of me for the week!" She joked poking him.

He sighed. "Nothing new."

"Hey what about me?!" Grim jumped.

"You will be staying here."

"MRAAAAAA! NO FAIR!"

A few days later.

Yuu walked into the mirror chamber carrying a couple of bags. Y/n was beside him with only Grim in her arms. Jamil glared at the cat. "What is that furball doing here?"

Crowley stepped forward. "Well you see....he would not stop asking, everywhere I went that feline was there! It was torture, I had no choice but to say he could come."

"You are one of the weakest-willed people I know." Y/n giggled.

"Yuu and Y/n, I see your here as well, that means you will be going too?" Malleus appeared in front of them looking extremely happy.

Y/n tilted her head. "You're going?"

He nodded happily. "I was invited."

"Weird." They both looked at Yuu. "I mean- that's great! I'm glad your here."

"I am glad to child of man." Malleus chuckled. "And while we're there, would you like to spend some time with me Y/n?"

"Well, when you ask so nicely of course!" She smiled dropping Grim to take his arms. "What do you want to do while we're there?"

"How rude!" Grim said hopping on one of the suitcases. "And do we really need this many bags?"

"Apparently...." Yuu shrugged.

Ruggie who had a very small bag laughed at the prefect. "I just brought a change of clean underwear."

Leona facpalmed. "You disgust me."

Sebek ran up to Y/n and Malleus. "I will protect you two with my life!" He folded himself into a 90-degree angle.

Silver joined his side with half of the enthusiasm. "While we're there we will do our best to protect you two."

"Oh, no need!" Y/n said pushing Sebek's face back with her pointer finger. "I'm sure we'll be fine. There's nothing you could do that I can't do in a pair of heels."

The two blinked in surprise.

"Try to enjoy yourselves okay?" She tilted her head.

Silver nodded. "I'll try."

"Good, but if you guys want you can stick with us." She told them.

Malleus eyes widened. He quickly turned her away from them leaning down to her. "I thought it could maybe just be us."

"Oh, like a date?"

"Ah." His face exploded in red. "Yes..."

"Aw. If that's what you wish." She turned back to Sebek and Silver. "Sorry guys it'll just be us and No following us!"

Sliver grit his teeth. "Yes Y/n."

Sebek nearly threw a tantrum but Y/n walked away before she could hear it. Leona walked up to her. "A date with Dragon breath Huh?"

"Yeah." She crossed her arms. "You jealous?"

"I always am." He smirked.

she scoffed a small pout on her face. "You're not fun to tease Kingscholar."

He clicked his tongue. "How would you like me to react?"

"I don't know get embarrassed of something." She roll her eyes.

He just shrugged. "Sorry to disappoint."

"Alright everyone! It is time. Please gather your bags and walk through the mirror." Crowley announced.

Y/n moved over to Yuu to help him with the bags. Her tail carried two and she carried another in her hand. Yuh was honestly surprised by how much weight her tail could take.

"Grim grab the last bag." Yuu told the cat following after Y/n.

Grim looked at the large case left for him. "How?!
