The sky darkened but the festival continued. Rollo excused himself early and headed back to the school. Eventually, Trein decided it was time to call it a night and began gathering his students. Jeremy had a hard time saying goodbye to Grim and Yuu practically had to rip Grim from his grasp. As they walked back the prefect looked at Y/n. "Your friend is weird."

She nodded in agreement. "Yup."

"Mraa! He sneezed all over me!" Grim complained.

Deuce suddenly came over to the Ramshackle group. "Um, we have a small problem. Negie and Cupid are coming over here right now."

Y/n's eyes widened. "Cupid is here?!"

Deuce nodded rapidly. "Just uh act natural?"

"I should have expected you'd be here," Cupid said as he and Negie approached them.

Y/n looked at the angel with an annoyed scowl. "Good to see you too."

"Did you guys have fun today?" Negie asked the Night Raven students.

"A blast," Yuu replied blankly.

Rook came over to them having heard their conversation. "Did you have a good time as well?"

The boy smiled sheepishly. "Sorta, Cupid and I kept getting recognized. This city loves angels."

Y/n rolled her eyes. "Cause angels are oh so perfect."

"Speaking of." Cupid looked to the side as a group of girls came up to him.

"Hi, can we get a picture with you?"

He smiled sweetly. "Of course."

Negie stopped to wait for Cupid to be done but Epel pulled him along. "Don't wait for that jerk."

"Huh? But he's my friend." He frowned.

Deuce just shook his head. "He's got wings, he'll catch up."

Y/n chuckled as Cupid began to attract more attention. "I don't think he's leaving anytime soon. I'm sure LeBlanche doesn't want to be caught up in all that."

Negie nodded. "Yeah, your sorta right."

The group gathered back at the school to discuss tomorrow's events. Everyone was as tired and in desperate need of a good sleep. However, Rollo, who was supposed to lead the discussion, was nowhere to be found.

Grim whined. "What is this guy making us wait around for?!"

"Don't be so impatient! He's probably doing something important, he is a student council president after all." Y/n replied giving the boy the benefit of the doubt.

Yuu was not as convinced. "I don't trust him. You should hear some of the stuff he's said to me."

The demon frowned. "Was he dissing you for being magicless?"

"Weirdly enough, he wasn't. Actually, he seems to despise magic." The prefect sighed.

Epel looked down thoughtfully. "What kind of person doesn't like magic?"

"Someone with a lot of issues." Idia snickered.

"Hey, what's that?" Deuce pointed down a hallway at what looked like a glowing flower. It resembled flames and it could have easily been mistaken for fire.

Suddenly the bell rang. The flower began to multiply and its vines grew up the walls covering the ceiling. One of the Noble Bell students walked towards the plant.

"It's so pretty." Once the student touched it they suddenly felt faint. "I feel...dizzy." The plants climbed over the student eventually taking him to the ground where he passes out.

"Whatever those are they are not good!" Grim shouted.

Vines from the plant climbed the walls and gathered around them. The group was surrounded. No matter how much magic the group used against them the flowers continued to grow.

The vines began to wrap around Malleus' legs Silver and Sebek managed to get them off but the vines kept gravitating to the prince.

Y/n looked around having realized what plant they were. "Don't use magic on them! They feed off of magical energy!"

"Clever..."

Looking up a set of stairs Y/n found Rollo. He was watching everyone struggle against the flowers with a satisfying smile. It was at that moment Y/n lost the little respect she had for the president. "You..."

"I knew you would figure it out first...after all, an impure, evil, deceiving spirit must know about such a flower. Tell me...are you afraid of it?" Rollo asked not expecting an answer. "You may be able to fool them but I see you for what you are. You are a lustful devil here to feed off the desires and sins of man."

"SHUT UP!" Grim hissed at Rollo.

Yuu scowled. "You don't know anything."

"..."

"......"

"Heh...ha!"

"Hahahahaha!" The demon began laughing hysterically. She keeled over from the enormous amount of laughter. Standing up straight she wiped a tear from her eye. "Never in all my existence have I met someone so confident and comfortable in their blindness. Your self-righteousness blinds you from the truth that is your own heart."

"ENOUGH DEVIL!" Rollo yelled infuriated. "Every last one of you is a villain! You deceive and trick the innocent with your witchcraft....but now you will be saved. I will cleanse you all of this unbecoming curse that is magic."

"What is this guy on about?!" Deuce asked.

Malleus looked around at the flowers. "These flowers, I thought they were extinct. They steal magic."

Rollo slammed his staff on the ground. "Soon the entire world will be clean..."

The floor began to shake and then it gave out under the Night Raven student. They fell into a deep dark depth until finally, they hit the ground...

[I was listening to a Hellfire cover by Annapantsu on YouTube and Spotify and let me tell ya, that high note at the end sent me into orbit! It was amazing 10/10 recommend.]
