"Hello again!"

"GAH!"

The ball had ended and Y/n had changed back into her Night Raven uniform. She was on her way back to the lecture hall to go back to her school when a certain jester jumped out at her.

"Jeremy Jaspire! Don't do that!" She hit his shoulder.

He chuckled. "My bad, I swear I didn't mean to scare ya."

She squinted at him.

"Okay, maybe I did a little." He said, pinching his fingers.

"Why are you here? Your trespassing." She crossed her arms.

"Well, I could just let you go without sayin goodbye." He told her.

A look of realization moved over her face. "Oh that's right, will we ever see each other again?"

He chuckled. "Oh course, I'm everywhere. You'll see me again even if you don't want to."

She smiled happily to know she would see her new friend again. "Where will you go now?"

"Don't know." He shrugged.

"Well wherever it is, I'm sure it will be just as interesting," Y/n stated.

He gave her a sardonic smirk. "I wouldn't be too sure about that. The last two days were very interesting."

"Indeed." Malleus butted in as he joined them in the hallway.

Jeremy's eyes widened a little. "My liege."

"Please don't bother with formalities." The prince waved him off. "I was hoping to run into you again."

"Uhhh." Jeremy looks at Y/n as if asking for help. "You were?"

"Yes." Malleus smiled. "I was wondering if you would perform at our wedding?"

"Whoah!" Jeremy gasped. "You two are engaged?!"

"No!" Y/n blurted out. "I mean- uh not yet- or maybe someday- I don't know!"

Malleus chuckled at her flustered expression. He places a comforting hand on her back. "I was only joking. That's very far into the future."

Her eye twitched, she was a little mad he got her worked up for no reason. "So not cool."

Jeremy sighed. "Aw, no wedding? That's a little disappointing, I love weddings. It's so fun to see the second choices borderline crying in the pews."

"You are a sadist." Y/n looked at him oddly.

"So I've heard." He winked. "I should let you both get home."

Malleus nodded to him. "It was a pleasure Jaspire."

"The pleasure was mine, your highness." Jeremy bowed dramatically before standing straight with his chest puffed out. "Please always remember the name Jeremy Jaspire!" Then he disappeared into a cloud of red smoke.

Y/n giggled. "We will."

"What an odd being," Malleus commented.

"Very odd."

All of the visiting students gathered in the lecture hall. Y/n stood talking to Yuu and Malleus. A few feet away was Cupid with his RSA group. He watched as she laughed at something Yuu said. Regret filled Cupid, a deep despairing regret.

"Cupid, are you alright?" One of the RSA students asked.

He shook his head snapping himself out of whatever trance had captured him. "Fine."

Negie followed his previous gaze. "Reminiscing?"

"More like regretting." The angel replied.

Negie frowned a little. "Well, I'd be lying if I said I hope you two get back together."

He glared at Negie. "I'm thankful for your honesty but was that necessary?"

The boy shrugged.

Rollo walked up to Y/n tapping her on the shoulder. "Excuse me, could I speak with you alone for a moment."

She turned to him a little confused. "There's no need to apologize again. I think you've learned your lesson."

He shook his head. "That's not what this is about."

"Oh. What is it about then?" She questioned.

Rollo looked between Yuu and Malleus who were both blankly staring at him. "It's...private."

She was obviously confused but agreed to go with him. Malleus and Yuu look at each other.

"I didn't like that," Yuu stated.

"I don't have a good feeling about it either," Malleus replied.

Rollo brought Y/n to the student council room. She stepped in and went over to the blazing fire enjoying the warmth. Rollo closed and locked the door behind him.

"So what's all this about?" She asked putting her hands out to feel the warm tingling sensation the fire gave her.

He took off his hat and moved to stand next to her. Clearing his throat he finally said something. "I.....I want you to kiss me."

Her eyes widened as she slowly turned to him.

He took her hands, his mannerisms becoming more and more desperate. "Please, or I will never be able to stop thinking about you. What it might have been like to feel your lips. I can't live with that sort of regret." He moved closer to her, a deep blush rushing to his cheeks. "Just one kiss."

Silently her hands moved up to his face. "Are you sure?"

"Please." He begged. "It's all I can think about."

To put the boy out of his misery she connected their lips. Rollo wrapped one arm around her waist and the other trailed up her back until his hand was on the back of her head messing with her hair. He pulled her as close as he could as their lips moved together. The sensation and satisfaction almost made his knees weak. And to him, it ended too soon.

Y/n pulled away from him. His breath was ragged compared to hers. At that moment he realized what a mistake he had made. The kiss only made his craving for her stronger.

"How unfortunate." He muttered his breath on her lips.

"What?"

He closed his eyes, resting his forehead on her shoulder. "I still want more."

Y/n and Rollo eventually came back to the group. The demon continued her conversation with Yuu and Malleus. Deuce however noticed how Rollo was staring at her. He wondered what Ace would have done in this situation.

"What are you doing?" Epel asked seeing Deuce's concentrated face.

"Don't worry, I got this." He said then walked over to Rollo.

The president looked at the boy oddly. "Is there something you need?"

"No..." Deuce said confidently. "But there is something you need."

Rollo frowned. "What's that?"

"Allow me to introduce you to a new club that I think will pique your interest....."

[Aaaaaand that is the last chapter of the Masquerade event! Next up is ghost marriage! Now.....I'm a little torn on what to do. I could A, put you in Idia's place or B, give Eliza a brother and have him like you so both Idia and yourself are screwed. Tell me what idea you guys like better!]
