Ice Age: A Summer Disaster

Prologue

It started as a hot day in the Herd Valley. The sun was shining brightly and the sky was deep blue, the perfect summer weather for sunbathing and having a swim in the lake. All mammals were there to enjoy the arrival of summer and wanted to make the most of it

It wasn't, until a small sabertooth squirrel made its way towards to lake, holding its acorn tightly in his arm and in the other arm a huge leave

He pushed the stem of the leave into the soft ground and made an excellent parasol out of it, he then placed his acorn under his head as a pillow and rested his head on his. The squirrel sighed in content as he closed his eyes and relaxed

That was, until a group of children sped past him through the water, a young rhino and a young antelope. The squirrel was soaking wet and not only that, his parasol was ruined and his acorn

His acorn was gone, it must've washed up into the wave and lost in the huge lake filled with large mammals

The squirrel yelled in panic as he took a deep breath and dove into the lake, swimming through the underwater plants and the big mammals that waltzed through the water and dove into the lake

He searched and searched, but not luck. The squirrel dove deeper and luckily, there it was, the acorn was laying in a small underwater Gardner of plants and shells

The squirrel beamed with happiness as he swam towards it, picked it up and hugged it tightly

Until a hairy trunk underwater was inhaling the water and took the squirrel with it, not sparring to hear his screams and pleas. The trunk belonged to none other than Ethan, who was hanging out his with his friend group

"Babe, you gonna take a swim with me or what?" His girlfriend, Tiffany, called out as she smiled while floating in the water

As Ethan intended to drink the water he had sucked up with his trunk, he could feel something else was in it as well. Ethan aimed his trunk into the air and took a deep breath, before shooting the squirrel out of his trunk as he could hear him scream and then the scream faded

Ethan laughed as he then turned to Tiffany

"You saw that? That squirrel just went-"

"I just know it's a hairy booger. Gosh, you're so gross" Tiffany cringed as she swam away from him, towards the other teenage boy mammoths

Ethan just pouted as he took a dove into the lake, very deeply, not planning to come back to the surface. But he did had the displeasure to hang around the elderly mammals, just floating around

The squirrel screamed as he went flying into a thick wall of brown fur as he groaned in pain and fell back onto the sand. Only to get stomped on by its hooves and was left squashed and flat

"Hey, watch it, pipsqueak" the mammoth, known as Manny, warned as he walked towards a hot lake and stepped into it, making it his own hot tub
