A/N: Eons have passed and once again Kairos is on the run as she's forced to watch as her nieces, nephews, and own son are forced into the archon war. But still she must run, but to where?

..................................................

How many centuries and eons had passed?

She had begun to lose track of just how much time had passed the world by. She had to watch as the world forgot her existence but that suited her fine too. It made it easier to remain hidden as she walked through the crowds. She had watched as her nephew, Deshret along with an exiled seelie named Shirin created a nation in the sea of sand. Her niece, Nahida with the yaksha tribe at her side and the amusing Aranara too formed a nation. One of her many children, a small wind sprite very recently had befriended some humans.

It had hurt and infuriated her to watch as that damn bastard had cast out her nephews and nieces. Stripping them of their heavenly names in favor of more sinister ones. Nahida had been named Buer, her precious lil' dragon adeptus nephew had been named Morax, her own son had been named Barbatos, and so on. Every child of the great houses that wretch had given them different names and forced them into his twisted little game. Even herself had been called a different name: Istaroth. That was what the Second Who Came had called her.

Fine then.

History was after all written by the victors as the humans so elegantly put it. If they wanted to label her family this way then so be it. Those traitors, those titans would learn just how unforgiving time was. The bitter memories in Kairos's mind left a bad taste in her mouth as she adjust the hood of her cloak. She had only just moments ago witnessed Morax's grief as his intended mate had lost her life. "I want to comfort him, hold him even but...I have to stay on the move. This twisted game of war for the gnosis of father's seven generals...Tsk, you'll pay for this blood you have spilled and answer for the lives you harmed because of this game of slaughter."she whispered bitterly glaring in contempt up at the floating island.

But there was also a smile because while Kairos suspected the mad king had done this to try and purge the Phanes lineage...it was backfiring horribly. Yes Deshret had sadly sacrificed himself but Morax was crushing everything in his way like the dragon he was. Buer easily stood her own ground as she adamantly protected the sapling cut from Yggdrasil, displaying all the primal ferocity of the yaksha forest spirits. The most surprising was discovering she had two nieces, a pair of yokai thunder spirits which meant Nyxia was alive, somewhere. But where was her sister? Kairos had been searching everywhere for her....but nothing.

As much as it pained her she could not interfere nor give comfort or support to those she called kin. She could give her voice to humanity to give support and guide them either. Slowly she climbed the slopes walking past the little village hidden in the pines. Watching the lands beyond the border of what was now slowly becoming Liyue she took to the skies. Like a howling gale she raced across the continent watching those that would become the first generation archons take hold and seize their victories and ideals.

With care she landed in the snow covered forest her niece that wielded cryo had taken a great love in. For a brief time, despite beijing on the run as she protected her father's heart she grew wide eyed and giddy at the site of a festival. "When did she build this place?"she wondered in delight at the sight of the town. With a hop and jumped and skid down the snow covered hills. The sound of music reaching her ears made her excited as she began to sing as images of a young ginger haired warrior flashed before her eyes from the time stream. The melody was smooth as she happily entered the town as she sang, her eyes giving off a soft golden glow.

There lived a certain man, in Snezhnaya long ago

He was big and strong and his eyes an abyssal glow
