"Did you forg-.. you..?" He was surprised when it wasn't athanasia but someone else.

"I came to pay a visit, i hope am not disturbing you or something..?" A brunette haired girl replied with her blinding smile.

'Obelian girls have a beautiful and blinding smile..' he commented after seeing her

"No, Jennette. You're welcome here" he step aside and motioned for her to enter which she did

"Athanasia is not here by the way" he said as he closed the door

"It's fine.. I don't think she'll be happy if she knew am here.. I actually came for you" she smiled as she sits down, putting her bag besides her.

"Hm.. is there something wrong between you two?.. and I don't think I'll appreciate it if someone pitied me.." he replied confused then scratched his nape in nervousness

"Something stupid.. not really important to know and no i came here because whether you like it or not.. we're family now so the least thing i can do is to check on you.." she stated, blinding lucas with her smile again that he was about to close his eyes but composed himself

"I see.. thanks.. but if am one of the family now like you said.. tell me what's wrong with you and athanasia's relationship..? W-well, am her husband now so i need to know what bothers her.."

She smiled nodded to herself that he's a considerate man..

"Are you sure..? It's something that can make you have a headache.. also... how should i tell you this..?" She fidgeted her fingers, don't know how to tell him..

"Continue please.." she sighs

"Well.. it's something regarding her relationship with izekiel.." she replied nervously. Lucas raised his eyebrows and nodded in understanding and motioned her to explain further

"She thought that we were cheating on her which it's absolutely not this... izekiel has a heart disease and at that time as the doctor said.. he was about to have a heart failure if i didn't save him, i went to his house after I responded to his calls that athanasia couldn't because she was swimming at that time.. *sigh* it was midnight so the maids didn't let me leave the house unless it's morning. She came in the morning before i leave and... you can imagine what happened later " she explained and lucas nodded again

" what were you two doing at that time together?" He asked what he thought athanasia would asked and obviously what anyone will ask

" we weren't together, i only checked on him and left the room, sleeping in a guest room. I admit i was wearing my night dress at that time but I couldn't think as kiel was feeling suffocating that day, i hastily wear my long jacket and left my house to there while calling his doctor. So it's obvious that she mistook us when she sees me that day when i want to leave his house.. and again the maids wouldn't let me leave without having breakfast.. i only sees kiel at that day when i checked on him in the morning and I wasn't alone too"

"I see.. so.. did she know the truth? And do you have a feelings to that softy?" He asked

"Sof-.. ahahaha!" She burst out laughing at the nickname and lucas chuckled a little

"Yeah she did" she wipe her tear and continued " but she was still insecure i may steal him from her or have feelings so our relationship became complicated since that time. But i swear izekiel to me is only a big brother figure, no more..!"

"I understand.. i think athanasia is loyal in her relationship with him that she believed that they are soulmates or something like that that she doesn't want a third person in between or.. that's how I understood the situation " he concludes what he understands from athanasia's behaviours
