(Y/n) soared through the air grinning like mad. Something about flying through the air was an amazing feeling yet terrifying at the same time.

Coming up on a large tree he closed his eyes breathing deeply. He exhaled shapely his eyes shot open, revealing burning yellow irises instead of the normal red. A horn grew from the right side of his head and scales emerged onto his skin. With a mighty yell he reeled back a claw like hand, into a fist encased in a purple lighting. Anyone who looked up at that moment would have seen a bright purple streak screaming as it flew through the sky, right before it impacted the tree and knocked it to the ground with a loud

BOOM!

Wood splinters and dust showered the surrounding area. (Y/n) emerged from the sparking dust cloud in his human form, brushing any wood chips and dust from his body. Pulling his scroll from his pocket, he checked his Aura level. About half. Not bad. I mean sure, it was a waste to exert that much power for a landing, but he figured he'd put on a show.

He drew Memento from his back and walked through the woods looking for his objective and teammates.

Ozpin watched the replay of the destruction with a chuckle.

Glynda: "Well he's definitely his father's son..."

Ozpin: (sarcasm) "Yes, I see subtlety runs in the family."

He just chuckled again and watched his screen.

After a few minutes of walking (Y/n) heard the sounds of combat popping up all around him. Guess everyone's getting started.

With a sigh he continued on his way.

Cutting through some heavy brush with his blade, he entered a clearing where he saw his objective. His eyes widened in shock, he felt his stomach churn at the sight. Before him was a large cave in the side of a mountain. But what really got his attention were the corpses. At the mouth of the cave lay three mangled and shredded corpses with broken weapons strewn about around them. He cursed for being too late... now he was pissed. Steeling his resolve he cracked his neck and reached into his utility pouch too pull out a paper ball half the size of his palm. Tossing it up and down a couple times he used his mouth to rip out the string attached to it before throwing it into the cave. After a couple seconds, there was the sound of repeated explosions and flashes of light from deep within the cave. A large creature let out a mighty roar that shook the mountain side. There was a rumbling as dozens of loud footsteps could be heard against the cave floor. (Y/n) backed up several yards to avoid the stampede. After a few seconds 14 Ursas burst from the mouth of the cave followed by a giant Ursa Major with a blood red Rook piece on a gold chain around its neck.

(Y/n) went wide eyed at the sight of it. Not only was the thing huge, it was easily twice the height of a normal Major. The eyes and markings on its bone protrusions glowed a sickly green instead of the normal red.

(Y/n): "You're one big boy aren't you..."

He started to sweat a little. The Major looked at him and roared on its hind legs as if challenging him.

(Y/n) instinctively took a step back out of reflex.

Gritting his teeth he tightened the grip on his weapon and spun the Tsuba. Holding it in his right hand, he laid the end of the pole arm on the ground with the blade pointed up, standing defiantly against the beast.

The Major roared once more getting the smaller Ursai to charge all at once. As the first one approached, (Y/n) leaned his head back to avoid a swipe before kicking the Naginata and slamming the pole into the Bear like creature's shin. Spinning the weapon once, he slashed at it, decapitating it in one fell swoop. The second attempted to tackle the human only to get two quick slashes to the chest and a stab through the skull from under it's chin.
