I'm woken up by my phone ringing, Embry groans, answering it. "What?" His morning voice growls, rumbling through his chest. He sighs, handing me the phone. "Hello?" "Alex, Jake left. Do you have any idea where he could be?" Billy's frantic voice asks through the device. "I'm sorry, Billy, I don't." He sighs and I can practically see him running his hand down his face. "All right, well if you see him can you let me know?" "Of course." I answer, listening to him thank me before we say our goodbyes. Embry rubs my back after I set the phone down and curl into him again. His fingers draw patterns on the exposed skin. I glance down at his chest, my face flushing. "I can hear your heartbeat." He teases. "Shut it, mutt." I joke. He huffs, glaring playfully at me.

"You're the one sleeping with this mutt." He smirks, laughing when my face goes red again. "You're an idiot." I roll my eyes as a joke but he quickly flips us, hovering over me. "Don't roll your eyes at me." "What're you gonna do about it?" I taunt, looking up at him. He immediately attaches his lips to mine, hand wrapping around my neck. His door swings open and someone wolf whistles. "Damn! Embry's getting it!" Quil shouts, laughing. I pull the covers over my chest, shoving Embry off me. Embry scowls, glaring at Quil. "Eyes up. Out." He orders. Quil smirks, nodding and walking out. Embry sighs, looking over at me. "I forgot I have patrols today." "Be careful." I say, leaning toward him and kissing him softly. He tries to deepen it but I pull away.

Quil knocks on the door. "Seth's waiting, get a move on!" He says through the wood. "Go. I'll be here for when you get back." I wink, watching him groan and throw his head back. "Don't get me started, Andria." I smirk, leaning toward him, running my hands down his chest and kissing down his neck. He growls, pulling me into his lap. "Now now, you've got patrols to do, Em." I giggle, pulling away. "Come on! Pack's waiting!" Quil bangs on the door. He stands, pulling his shorts on before kissing me roughly. "Go, Em." I laugh, pushing him. He doesn't move, just continues staring down at me. "Quil! Come get the boy!" I shout. Quil walks in, winking at me as he grabs Embry, walking out of the room. "Don't wink at my girlfriend." Embry growls at him.

"Love you, Quil!" I yell before the door shuts. "Love you too, beautiful!" Quil shouts in return. I laugh when I hear a growl. After lying in bed for a little while, I decide to get dressed. I pull on my underwear and one of Embry's t-shirts. I walk downstairs, Embry's mom has been away for a few days, so she wasn't standing at the counter where she normally does. If only Jake were still here, at least I'd have someone to talk to. I quickly realize Paul shouldn't be busy. I run upstairs, calling him as I flop down on the bed again. "Hey!" Paul answers, as I smile. "Hey, wanna hang?" I ask, pouting slightly even though I know he can't see me. "Of course. When?" "Right now." I state laughing when he chuckles. "Give me ten minutes." He hangs up.

My phone rings as I'm getting dressed. "Hello?" "You heard the news yet?" Dad asks from the other side of the phone. "What news?" "Your sister didn't send you anything?" He questions. "There might be something at Sam's. I haven't been there yet." I accidentally spill that I didn't stay at Sam's, quickly slapping my hand over my mouth. "Where did you stay?" He challenges as I hear Paul honk from downstairs. "Um, phone's cutting out. Gotta go! Bye!" I drag out the 'e,' hanging up with a grimace. Gonna get an earful for that one. I sigh, walking out to Paul's truck. He looks at me and smirks. "Y'all use protection?" He asks when I climb in. I gasp, smacking his arm with one hand while the other comes up to hide my neck. "You're so dumb."

He laughs, pulling me into the middle. "You been to Sam's yet?" I ask. "Yeah. There's a letter there for you. Sam told me to tell you about it." "My dad said something about my sister sending me something. I bet it's a wedding invite. Jake said something about her being engaged." I shrug. "Five bucks it's not an invite." Paul's always betting someone something. Nine times out of ten, he loses. "Ten bucks says it is." I know it is. Bella's only been obsessing over marrying Edward since she met him. The thought makes me wanna puke. She gave up all sense of self because of a boy. I pause. God, is that the way other people see me with Embry? "Hey." The word comes out before my brain can tell my mouth not to move, not to speak at all.
