She can hear the distant sounds of the market outside her home. She can hear the bustle and laughter that made her love and adore her home. It was one of the many things that pushed her to do anything to protect their country.

But this, what her brother wanted and was making her do was something else. She knew she had to do it to protect their nation but was it worth it?

Was her freedom and happiness worth a piece of land that her brother never really had the right to take?

She pushed open her window, letting the cold wind of the night in, "No it isn't." she whispered into the air.

Freya looked back into her room and sighed. She was going to regret this but it was something she had to do for herself. She was doing it for her, not for anyone else.

She was done following everything her brother would tell her. She wanted to do something for herself and this was it.

So, as she tightened the ends of the sheets together and around the bedpost, she moved to the window and stared at the outside.

Thankfully, her window was on the other side of the nation, just where the walls connected to their home. She looked back into her room before throwing the connected and tied sheets out the window.

Freya watched as it dropped just outside the walls. Letting out a breath, she pulled on her red leather jacket and satchel before gripping the sheets.

With one last breath, she jumped out the window. Her grip on the sheet alongside her waist made her bed crash into the wall of her room. She cringed at the sound but quickly climbed down using the walls of their home.

Before she could even reach the ground, she could hear the door in her room crash open. "Freya!" she heard Tommy yell. She looked up to see the blonde and her brother poke their heads out the window.

"Don't you dare-" But she did dare. Wilbur was pulling the sheet up but she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath before letting go of the sheet. "NO!" Tommy yelled fearing for her life.

But for the first time in a long while, she opened her eyes and palms. Strings of red power flowed out of her and her eyes glowed red.

Before she could reach the ground, the power helped her land gracefully on her feet. She looked up again at her once home, she could see the silhouette of her brothers.

Freya sent them a mock salute and smirk before turning around. When she did, she noticed a shadow dropping to the ground next to her.

She tilted her head at it as it looked back at her. "Who-" "There!" the voice of her nephew rang out. "Shit." She muttered but before she could process it, she was grabbed by the mysterious person. "Come on!" And off they ran towards the thick oak forest that surrounded her brother's country.

The sound of the market and laughter and bustle grew quieter as they ventured further away from the place.
