Freya sat at the front of the boat as Sapnap rowed. Gimly sat peacefully on her lap as she looked up excited to see the lanterns light up the cloudy sky.

"The clouds are up already." She said with a sigh. Sapnap chuckled and shook his head making her look at him, "Be patient." He joked. She stuck her tongue out at him making him reach into the water to splash him.

She squealed and jokingly rocked the boat making him grip the sides. "Don't." Sapnap said pointedly. Freya chuckled, "Alright blazeboy." She joked before sitting on the floor of the boat, "What are you doing?" he asked as the sun continued to set.

Sapnap studied her with a tilted head, Freya then reached behind her head and pulled out a daisy, and placed it on the water.

In his shock, it floated above it. She smiled and continued the action until the sun officially set, the darkness of the sky. Sapnap sighed and sat next to her, gently taking out some flowers from her hair and offering it to her.

It kept them occupied until the first lantern was released into the air. She gasped and sat up to see. She looked around to see what looked like thousands of lanterns being let out in the sky. Floating away from the land and boat and into the night sky. Their reflection in the water made it seem that their boat was floating in space.

That they were one with the lanterns. She smiled tearfully at the sight. It was a dream come true. Her attention though was caught by the light coming from beside her.

She smiled excitedly and turned to him. Freya looked at him with bright eyes, them sharing eye contact as Sapnap held two lanterns in his hands.

Freya let out a sigh of happiness, "You know what I realized?" she asked. He chuckled and shook his head making her laugh, "We ran away from L'Manberg because we were being forced to be together.

"We were scared and worried but right now I think if we really had something to be scared of, it's long gone because I'm not scared of you anymore." She said with a blushed smile.

Sapnap chuckled and nodded, "I'm not anymore too." He admitted and they shared a genuine smile before offering her the lantern. They chuckled together before letting their lanterns fly into the air with the rest of them.

They admired the lanterns with the permanent smiles on their lips. Sapnap couldn't help but glance at her as she looked like she was one of the lanterns as well.

Shining bright in the sea of lights, he couldn't help but admire her happiness and beauty at the same time. "Sapnap look!" she happily said, pointing at a lantern that was about to touch the water.

Freya reached over and pushed the lantern back into the sky. Sapnap quirked an eyebrow at her before gently grabbing her hand.

She looked at him in shock but seeing his face, a soft look on his face was enough for her to smile at him.

It was a magical moment. Sapnap pushed a stray hair away from her face and was starting to lean in when Gimly croaked making them laugh.

"Yes Gimly, you're here too." Freya joked as Sapnap rolled his eyes jokingly. The two sat closer to each other and enjoyed the scene before it ended.
