"This is the most fun place around?" Freya asked questioningly. Her new pet frog whom she had named Gimly, sat comfortably on her shoulder.

Sapnap, who was holding the door open for her, chuckled but nodded. "The funnest." He said. She turned to him, "That's not a word." "It is to me."

Before she could protest a bang was heard from beside her. She jumped closer to Sapnap, causing him to wrap an arm around her waist. "What do we have here-" "Schlatt! Stop harassing my customers!" a voice from the bar yelled.

The man narrowed his eyes at the pair before returning back to his table and drinking his beer while grumbling. She let out a breath and let Sapnap walk her to the front and towards the bar.

A few people greeted Sapnap which he greeted back. She looked up a bit, seeing as he was a bit taller than her, "You seem popular here." She muttered.

Sapnap chuckled and shrugged, "It's a place to let loose I guess." He said as they reached the bar. Offering a sit to her, she sat down with Gimly jumping to her lap, looking around in awe.

Before she could say, glasses were placed on the bar, "Well if it isn't Sapnap the blaze boy." Freya turned to see a man with a blue beanie, white polo worn loosely, black suspenders, and a scar on his face.

"Who do we have here? Your next conquest-" "No! No. No. You got it all wrong Big Q." Sapnap cut him off with an embarrassed laugh. Freya looked at him with a slight gape of her lips.

Sapnap grinned at her and shrugged, "She's a... um, a friend." He said before turning back to Big Q. The beanie-wearing bartender laughed, "Quackity. Nice to meet you..." "Freya." She said with a small smile.

Quackity raised his eyebrow in shock before glancing at Sapnap who nodded. "Well then, it is an honor to meet a Soot Member." He said as he shook hands with the redhead.

"Thanks? But I prefer Freya, I'm not just a Soot you know," she said sassily. Quackity laughed and tapped the table in front of Sapnap, "You've found someone with the same fire as you." He teased making Sapnap roll his eyes.

"Anyway, can we get something to drink?" Sapnap asked. "Of course! The usual I presume?" Q asked Sapnap who nodded. As he prepared his drink he turned to Freya who was watching the people around the bar.

"Quite the group of people huh?" Quackity asked. Freya chuckled and nodded, "It's a free environment. Everyone seems so genuine and real." She said praisingly. The bartender chuckled and nodded, "That's why people come back to the Ugly Duckling." He said with a proud shrug.

"You named the place?" she asked as she nodded to the beer she was being offered. Quackity smiled longingly, "My fiancé did. We loved feeding the ducks." He said.

Freya furrowed her eyebrows, "Loved?" "He wanders around a lot. He hasn't come back yet." He said sadly. The girl frowned and Gimly who seemed to have understood looked like he frowned too.

"Well, he'll find his way back." She said as she sipped the beer. Used to the taste from the number of times she and her brother would drink their father's beer when they were mere teens.

Quackity chuckled sadly, "I don't know about that Miss Soot." Freya pursed her lips, "But as you said, people come back to the Ugly Duckling. Your fiancé will too." She said positively.

The bartender chuckled and nodded, he turned to Sapnap who smiled at him, "You've found a great friend here Sap." The brunette turned to her, she was too busy talking to the person who sat next to her.

A young man with a frog hat and gray hair. They were chatting about Gimly happily. Sapnap smiled and nodded at Quackity, "Yeah. I guess I did."

Needless to say, Freya fit in quite well at the Ugly Duckling. She was entertained by the number of stories she heard from the quaint guests of the bar. Sapnap watched her peacefully wander around while he enjoyed his glass of beer.

But what they didn't know was the two outside. The younger redhead boy was about to barge in but the brunette grabbed his arm.

"Tubbo-" "Do you see her? She's enjoying herself." Tubbo cut off the young boy. The redhead sighed, "But dad told us to get her." he said with a frown.

Tubbo placed a hand on his shoulder, "I know but look at her Fundy. She's happy." The young boy looked at his aunt one more time, he couldn't help but smile at the sight of her.

Freya was laughing and smiling, something he rarely saw now especially when his father moved them to start L'Manberg. So, despite the order of his father, they let them be. Hopefully, no one will know they saw them.
