It didn't take the four of them to bring Freya back home. But despite Dream taking the icicle out and Sapnap constantly trying to melt the ice, the girl was yet to wake up.
According to Eret and George, it will take time. Sapnap also consulted with his fathers who agreed with the healers' words. Because Freya was under the spell longer, it will take her longer to wake up. All they had to do was let Sapnap warm her up enough to wake up.
Despite the still rocky trust between the people of L'Manber towards the Dream Team, they were welcomed in the nation for the sake of Freya.
That day however, while Sapnap was accompanied by his fathers to try and wake up Freya again, Dream and Wilbur found themselves talking about the whole situation.
"It's crazy, this all started with the agreement." Dream said. Wilbur couldn't help but snicker, "How? Schlatt is my enemy." He said.
Dream rolled his eyes, "I mean, we wouldn't have helped if Sapnap didn't beg me." He said to clear out everything. Wilbur looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "So he actually cares?" he asked.
The blonde shrugged, "For your sister? Definitely." He said. Wilbur hummed and nodded, "It's crazy. When Tommy found her and brought her back all she wanted was to get away again.
"I didn't understand at first. I thought she was being a stubborn sister. But then when I saw Sapnap showing the same emotion it kind of clicked for me I guess." He elaborated.
Dream couldn't help but laugh at him, "Yeah. When I asked Sapnap he just was upset ever since coming back and then I realized what it was. It was her."
"Can someone fall that fast?" Wilbur asked. Dream turned to look at him, "You tell me. You're the one with a son." He said.
Wilbur hummed and nodded, "Yeah. I guess. Maybe I got too carried way with being the president." "You think?"
The two couldn't help but share a laugh. But silence engulfed them once again once they finished laughing.
It was weird, having an actual civil conversation between the two. Although for the sake of their family, there they were.
"So... What now?" Wilbur asked. Dream hummed and shrugged, "I think they'll have to figure it out themselves."
"Yeah. I guess they will."
