One week later.....
At the old teapot house, the trio plays marbles.
Mugman: I win!
Cuphead: Aww, man....
Chalice: Nice job, Mugs.
Mugman: Thanks.
Cuphead puts away the marbles and stood in front of his little brother and his friend.
Cuphead: You guys know what day it is?
Chalice: Um....
Mugman: Strawberry's surgery is today....I hope she's doing well....

Back at the hospital, the doctors are ready to do surgery on Strawberry's ankle.
Strawberry Crème: I want to get this over with....
Doctor: Don't worry, Strawberry....your ankle will feel so much better after this....
Strawberry Crème: Okay....stick the sleeping medicine in me, doc. I'm ready.
The doctor sticked a needle in Strawberry's neck and she letted out a cry of pain. The doctor lays her head down.
Strawberry Crème: (yawns)
Doctor: Okay, guys. Let's do this.
The doctors opened up where the injury is in her ankle.
Doctor: Glass.....quick, get me a pair of tweezers and a cloth!
The nurse handed over tweezers and a soft cloth to the doctor and the doctor gently pulled the pieces of glass out of Strawberry's ankle.
Doctor: A needle and thread, SAT!
The nurse handed the doctor a needle and some string.
Nurse: Be careful, doc.
Doctor: I got this...
The doctor gently stitched up Strawberry's open wound and wraps a fresh a bandage around her ankle.
Doctor: Done....okay, everyone! The surgery is a success!
The doctor pulled the needle out of Strawberry's neck and puts a bandage around where the needle poked her.
Doctor: She'll wake up in a few hours....
Nurse: Nice job.
Doctor: Thanks.

Back in Inkwell City, the trio walked around.
Chalice: I hope Strawberry will handle the surgery well....
Cuphead: I heard that the surgery is going on right now.

A few hours later, back at the hospital, Strawberry slowly opens her eyes.
Strawberry Crème: (softly) Ugh....
Cuphead: (whispers) She's waking up....
Mugman: Strawberry?
Strawberry Crème: What happened?
Chalice: The doctors are done with the surgery on your ankle.
Strawberry looks at her bandages ankle.
Strawberry Crème: (softly) Yay....
Cuphead: Are you feeling okay?
Doctor: The sleeping medicine hasn't fully worn off yet, so she might be a bit under the weather.
Chalice feels her friend's forehead.
Chalice: She does feel a bit warm.
Doctor: She might need another hour to rest.

A while later, Strawberry sat up in her bed and talks to her friends.
Strawberry Crème: As soon as I get out of here, we're gonna celebrate.
Sorry it's short....because Christmas is coming up in less than a week and I'm gonna take a break for awhile. But the next chapter will be a Christmas special, so stay tuned for it!
