Past Conflicts

Lightning's P.O.V:

I continue to fly over the rising lava with Fanny in my arms, carrying her isn't too hard as she is rather light and she's only 3 inches shorter than me. Of course her struggles haven't ended, she really refuses to accept being saved by me.

Lightning: You're going to get tired of struggling eventually you know that?

Fanny: I hate you.

Lightning: C'mon you don't mean that. 

Fanny: What do you know?

I then feel my phone vibrate in my pocket meaning I got a text message, I stop for a moment and move Fanny to be held in my left arm so I could shuffle around my pocket for my phone but she starts to squirm even more trying to break free and ounce she did she jumps off of me in an attempt to make a leap to a nearby building.

Lightning: Fanny- What are you doing!?

Fanny: Going my own way that's what! HYA!

Lightning: NO!

I quickly zip down to Fanny and grab her tail just seconds before she'd had fallen to her molten death, I wipe the sweat off my brow with a sigh of relief and hoist her back into my two handed grasp.

*snatch*

Lightning: ARE YOU MAD WOMAN!? THERE'S NO WAY YOU WERE GOING TO MAKE THAT JUMP!

Fanny: *grumbles quietly*

My cloud I can't keep my eye off her for even a second, whoever sent me that text and what is was about will have to wait a moment while I try to negotiate with Fanny.

Lightning: Listen Fanny, I know we had some... problems with each other in the past but it's called the past for a reason, we're both in a different club now with people that treat us much nicer than Pencil. Trust me, zapping you was unpleasant to me as it was to you, so can't we just I don't know start over?

Fanny: Let me down somewhere first and I'll think about it.

Lightning: *sigh* How about I let you off when this lava problem is gone, deal?

Fanny stops her squirming and lends her tail to my hand exchanging a 'hand'shake.

Fanny: Ugh... Deal.

Normal P.O.V:

It was now just smooth flying from there on. Lightning and Fanny flew around and helped anyone they found by Fanny grabbing them with her tail and Lightning would then carry then to a high enough roof for Fanny to drop them off at. Fanny was quiet throughout this pattern though and Lightning took notice.

Lightning: Hey Fanny, you've been quiet for a good bit, everything ok?

Fanny: I'm not telling you.

Lightning: ... It's Bubble isn't it?

Fanny: EH-! What gives you that idea!? I'm not worried for her or anything like that! STOP NAGGING ME ALREADY!

Lightning: Okay okay I got it. Hmm, We should probably try to find the rest of Death P.A.C.T. know where to look?

Fanny: What do I look like, a GPS?

Lightning: I'll text them in the Death P.A.C.T. chatroom then, don't try to pull that same stunt from before got it?

Lightning then reaches for his phone to check his texts to find the one he didn't read due to Fanny trying to cause her own death, he checks it to find it from Liy and not only that but there were other texts from Liy after that one asking about his and Fanny's location. 

Fanny: Well?

Lightning: I think we should head to the park.

Fanny: You think or you know?

Lightning: I know so, now c'mon.

Lightning then flies in the direction of the park when he makes a small realization.

Lightning: Hey Fanny, we're you able to get a text message from Death P.A.C.T.'s chatroom? 

Fanny: My phone was dropped in the lava...

Lightning: Oof that's rough...

As Lightning and Fanny take one more block to find the park they quickly notice that the lava is now rapidly lowering.
