Natsu comes at me with a fist of fire. I use my magic to create a water shield blocking it. We jump back after the impact, creating space between us.

"That was almost too easy, don't tell me you're holding back Natsu?" I ask in cocky manner.

"Oh yea, then how bout this!" He says creating a big ball of fire in his hands launching it straight at me.

I gulped before jumping out the way. Sliding in the dirt after landing I see him charge at me once again. Face to face with some distance between us he uses his wing attack and I respond with a dragon roar. An explosion sets off after our magic collides.

Jumpig toward him after the smoke clears he does the same, fighting mid air. He punches right with fire in hand while I dodge punching with water in mine. We land still in combat. I try to kick him using my right leg, but he has the same idea as we clash, holding the stance for a quick second before pushing away from each other.

Wiping some sweat that ran down the side of my cheek, I see him do the same in a smirk.

Seeing you catch your breaths, Grey hasn't taken his eyes off you since the match started.

"YOU GOT THIS Y/N!" Yells Happy in support which angers Natsu, causing him to turn and throw a fuss with his arms up. Grey sees you smile at Natsu's reaction causing him to grin in admiration without realizing.

"Wow mommy's strong, right daddy," says Hikari, looking up at Grey with Rio still purring in her arms. He snaps out of it, looking down at her before agreeing.

"Yea," he says in a smile, with Hikari before they turn back to see you attack first this time.

"Water Dragon...river whips," forming ropes with my magic, I control them, trying to land a hit. But they are dodged and avoided by Natsu. I let out a sigh in annoyance. Landing from jumping out of the way, he releases a dragon roar.

With no time to dodge, i form a wall with my magic blocking the attack instead. It isn't long before the impact of the attacks is clear. Seeing the smoke moving away, i see Natsu striking again. I flip back in time, but without landing properly, he throws another punch, causing me to hit the floor.

Silence fills the air after. Till Natsu moves from his stance after getting the last hit in, he yells in victory "Alright I win!!!" He throws up his hands.

"Dammit, I thought I had you this time." I say, getting up after dusting myself off.

"Keep losing, and I might have to find another opponent," he says, crossing his arm leaning towards me.

'My cocky smile thrown right back at my face'

"Shut up," I say, pushing his face away. Then, turn to see Hikari running towards me. "Mommy," she says before wrapping her arms around my legs. I smile, and then I let it fade.

'It was selfish of me to accept her calling me her mother. Who am I kidding? I don't know the first thing about kids. What if I ruin her'

"Y/n," I hear Rio saying my name as I snap out of it. Crouching down, I lift the child up. "Sorry you had to see me loose Hikari." I smile in embarrassment. She hugs me in comfort as I pat her back gently. "Damn, now I have to give up two fish to that loser, Nab," Happy says, letting out a sigh.

"You bet against me?" Natsu questions in shock and anger, turning to Happy. "See Natsu, I knew you would win. That's why I cheered for y/n I- I didn't want her to feel sad after she lost," he recovers quickly.

"Nice try," Natsu responds in anger, chasing after him as he flies back to the guild with Rio following getting a good laugh in.

Enjoying the silence after they left, I hear that damn Frosty walk up next to me. I look at him, and I can't take my eyes off him. Not moving, we stand there as the wind wraps around both of us.
